The aliens have a secret underwater city where they test all kinds of things.
If fact they got ahold of some of Jacques Cousteau's DNA and brought him back to life.
He was piloting a rather large experimental submarine when it ran aground in 40.000 ft of water.

Only the evil ameerikans know of this secret base the aliens
bribe us with Dolly Parton clones in the basement of the white house to keep there secret.

By default, these kinds of lists are a pissing contest. And that contest is: "Which is/are the most generous nation/nations?"

On it's face you could look at such lists and say "The US is not a generous nation." You would do so because you might say "The US is a wealthy nation, when compared to the rest - it could/should be doing more."

But the wealth of a nation hardly rests solely with what the government can muster. Because the wealth of a nation refelects the wealth of its citizens. Afterall, the government's money is really only the money paid to it by its citizens.

So if you want to measure the generousity of a nation, then looking solely at what its government forks out is looking at only a fraction of the picture. What are the private donations? I'm sure the private donations made on behalf of the US' citizens dwarfs any other country. By miles.

Don't point at stats like "country x = $1.24 per citizen"... because that aint the whole truth here.

I only have the US figures (872 underground tests in the pacific, 1098 in total) and might recall 95 Nukes blown by France, but it might be more.

Russia didnt use the pacific for their tests. the other tests are marginal, compared tho the USAīs testing.

Still ALL tests sure must have some kind of effect on the inviroment. What they will finelly be, maybe our children will find out?

Patrone just wants to stir the pot here by first blaming religion and then blaiming the US for nuke testing.

You are wrong, Gunslinger, I was really questioning your list and the Bait on your troll. Mr Goth said that people in the middle east was blaming the USA for testing NUKES in the area, I just had to add that it might really be true.

Shhhhhh.
It's a secret.

Ok let me please state the obvious here.
Don't you think that the plates would have shifted sometime closer to the times of the test?

And not decades later.

no you were accusing the US of starting a crusade!  That is a troll.  My list was asking were the middle east was more specifically were oil rich countrys with out references to religion.

then you came in with a stupid comment about geographics.  If this was a troll i would:

1.  Not have add new zealand (that's keeping it honest)
2.  Not have responded to your post

My comment, Gunslinger, was on mr Powells statement on "Showing Muslim world".

And as your list was so "lacking" with the Headline:"Wheres the middle east???" Poking Iran who suffered, not to long ago, from a hughe earthquake causing 30 000+ dead.

The comments that would come from your fellowed rednecked friends was pretty obviuose.

With other words: A Troll.

Its easy to blame Iran.

And its also very easy to promise vast amounts of money and just to "forget" to pay the money - like many so called civilized countries have done in the case of Afghanistan for example.

Iran has always helped others in many cases in its history.
With all regimes we had.

We have allowed MILLIONS of refugees of Iraq and Afghanistan to enter iranian territories and live there.

During the terror of the Taliban-regime, when no one in the world cared about these fanatics Iran was supporting the factions who fought against them and helped 3 millions afghan refugees in Iran.

Many of them now returned to Afghanistan and live in the afghan Herat province.

Same on the iraqi border when mad dog Saddam butchered the kurds and shiites after Gulf War 1.

Maybe Iran has not promised as much money for the asian countries as other nations.

But Iran itself has to care for the tenthousands people of the iranian city of Bam, which was destroyed in the earthquake just one year before.

To blame Iran is ridiculous.
