Heh.  Paradise it may be my friend, but let me share something my grandfather told me once.  Ive always found it to be true, and it certainly is here.

The grass may be greener on the other side of the fence, but thats only because there's more fertilizer to make it grow.

I live here.  It wont ever be home.  But I'll enjoy it while I'm here.

Bah...live on a REAL island SoA, not some American colony.  ;)

BRITISH colonies are much much better.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

MiniD, i hear you there. Trust me when i say its felt by me towards my own country also.

you know, if we add up the posts, it would probably show a very even divde between all nations that have representatives here.

the main cause of this divide is ignorance.

The world is plagued by ignorance.

I am not saying you or anyone should not deffend your nation, far from it. A man who doesnt can hardly be called a man.

Maybe it has something to do with foreign newspapers asking if "Americans Can be this dumb" after we elected our president.

Maybe it has to do with "Allies" stabbing us in the back to pad their own pockets.

Maybe it has something to do with stadiums full of people who come to their feet and cheer when the entertainer du jour defames the US.

Maybe it's because we feel we do our damnedest to help others only to get slapped in the face.

Maybe you should look at the way the world has been treating us before asking why we react the way we do.

I'm coming over to USA next month, to stay over at a friends house.
Some people here have insulted me as an anti-american, shouldn't they be very scared now :D

I don't recall asking for anyone's help.

And if I was going to say something nice about anyone, it would be Curval because I've found him to be a very pleasant person.

But your condescending attitude is going a long way toward meding fences.

This is the European attitude that started 2 world wars and killed over 100 million people.

BTW what country are you from so that I aim my insults the right direction?

first off, I'm not condecending to you, you may feel like i am but this derives from within the individual. my reason for this thread was so we could chat about this situation, not throw more insults.

secondly, I'm a fencing contractor by vocation, so no suprises there.

You're right Krusher, my initial sentance was wrong.

should have written.

'If Europe want war with the US, or the other way around'

appologies for making it sounds one sided, was not my intention.

Im from England, so no fear, you can keep the insults coming as they were :)
