In over 4-5 years ive been playing this game,  i havent whined on this BBS ONCE..  But of course there is a time for everything..

And my fricken issue is this Puffy ack,  i've lost yet another 262 due to it..  Traveling along 15k up,  one ping and your back in the tower,  what kind of watermelon is that...  I've lost countless planes due to this..   Jeez...

rant off...

Chalk that up to lack of exercising the whine muscles.  Granted, even without practice, this is a well worn topic and research could have given  him a better score.  Even a quote, or a threadid ref.  Still, his first whine on this (and the fact he managed to include a 262 in the post) ............. make it a 5.

Yeah, sure puffy ack is a pain in the bellybutton but weren't the majority of the planes lost due to AA fire in the real war?  And why is it hard to fathom that it is possible for one ack burst to take out a plane?  Since when is it required that you have to have multiple ack hits before your plane becomes damaged?

The only really issue I have with the acks is that they seem to be modeled with proximity fuses and fired my 88mm flak guns.  In real life, 88mm didn't use this ammo as the Germans didn't use proximity fuses.

AH ack does not work like the ack IRL.  Check the "Puffy ack request" thread in gameplay forum.  The ack in AH works by drawing a box around your plane and then randomly dropping ack into it.  No aiming, loading, firing, fusing etc.  None.

Ok, let me show you how to gripe:

YO, HT - check this out. Last night, before the mass execution we have all come to love as "having our bellybutton UDP'd back to desktop" - yea, so we can all look at porn for 10 minutes to kill time to login again. Yea that thing. Well, I had a 7 man flight of 262's up - yes NO **** - 7. Mmm hum...yes I understand the internet is an unpredictable place and connection problems happen...Mmm hum...ok, tell you what then. You give myself, Wipple, FX, Hub, Psbryguy, igshill and the other dude our points back - and i'll make sure to pay the bill on time this month.  Mmm hum...oh an RV8? Thats awesome, does it have an inverted oil system? Ok good deal - remember to reinstate those perks. Yea you too.

----

Thats how you gripe.
