Think along the lines of "That's interesting...what's it for?".

If it's going to go the way of "You must think you're a real hero" or "My opinion matters more than yours because-" then I don't want to get involved.

In other words, if ongoing feuds are 'active' here then I'll steer clear. I don't have the free time as of late to be a Proper Feuding Bastard. :)

I was never implying you should think his opinions valid or anything else like that. I just wanted to know if it was 'gloves on' or 'gloves off'. :)

I disagree with a good portion of what Sandman says.  That doesn't make his service any less relevant, in my eyes.

To answer your question:
I have ribbons from Navy, Army, and CG branches.  I was a member of a mixed branch drug interdiction unit for much of my service, operating in the Caribbean and South America.

Ever get down to the Lime 'N Pub, or the Boley Bar in the Petit St. Vincent region? :)

I've heard some crazy stories from guys that were involved with the program(s) that I think you were involved in.

If I remember correctly there's a Green Boley Bar in St. Vincent, but I don't recall there being much of anything on Petit St. Vincent.  If we were in that area, we usually went to Grenada, anyway.  The kids at St. George's University always had a nice beach party going on.

Theres no pictures for mine.

Ive got 3 Unit Citation, its one ribbon with two bronze stars on it. Highest award given by divisions. Got one for Steadfastness award, another for best cadet in NY, and another I cant remember, gotta find plague (sp)

I also have a staff ribbon with 2 bronze stars for staffing 3 bootcamps.

Have a colorguard ribbon with 2 bronze stars. Get one ribbon for doing 10 colorguards and a star for every 10 after. My unit owes me a silver star as Ive done a few more then 60 of them. (Our colorguards are not bs like highschool jrotc. We usually do better then actual military colorguards.)

I have a Marksmen ribbon for qualifing with a rifle. Used a M16 for it. ANd I have a silver E on it to signify I qualified  in the best catagory.

Have a Unit  Accomidation(sp) ribbon for doing 15 hours of community service. Have a total of 4 of those to equal 60 hours.

Have a 25th year ribbon for my unit's aniversery. Dosnt mean much.

And I have years 1, 2,3, and 4 ribbons. Just shows time in unit.

Total of 10 ribbons.
I gave up on caring about having more ribbons at 4. I get more ribbons now that I dont care then when I did.

Also have a promotion coming up this summer to CPO. :aok

Sorry that was long.

I know I spelled it wrong. Its one of those words that you just seem to forget from time to time. It is pretty funny tho.

How is it really spelled ?

Do a search for "voss" and then delete that remark.
