Army Achievement- 6
Good Conduct- 2
NDSM- 1
Kosovo Campaign
Global War on Terror
NCOES- 2
Army Service
Overseas Service
Armed Forces Reserve Medal with "M" (for a short Guard stint)
Adjutant Generals Award of Texas (same thing, short stint with the Guard)
Nato Article 5 Medal

And not to forget about the current "campaign" medals. Of course, I figure those go without saying for currently serving combat arms soldiers. Been in 8 years and cant find it within me to stop.

Cozy Kitty?

Ya back when they created the cold war ribbon, a few of us joked how it should be a plaid patch like a blanket to keep you warm. Kind of a personal joke I guess.

No idea how to load images, but in some sort of chronological order:

Falkland Islands Campaign medal (with rossette)
Northern Ireland GSM Medal
Gulf Campaign medal (with combat clasp- 16th Jan - till whenever)
And sometrhing from the Kuwaitis/Saudis with crossed Palm leaves on it, can't recall which of them it came from, but it came from one of them as we all get this little box handed to us with one in there.

A few scraps of plastic, fabric and/or metal seems like a small price to pay to help convince the largest volunteer-only forces in the world to not to go back to their civilian lives.  Even if some of them are silly.

I got this one, only 3 awarded in 20 years in my unit. I gave it to an American B17 gunner who lost a finger in combat when he was all alone for his birthday. Turned out he never was a B17 gunner. His wedding picture from after the war showed all 10 fingers.  :o

Yep, Americans military sure is different, they get crazy with their ribbons, the secretary of the US Col that visited us had about 15 ribbons, the Commander of our airbase had 3. :rofl
Dat jugs bro.
