Out of interest whats your take on the whole "Biker" thing Hyena?Refer to Jackle1 onging diatribe and the various views expressed by the rest of us, for reference if you like.
the biker thing,,well ummmmm,,i think you both have good and bad views about it..some are more hard core about there fealings of what a real biker is,,,a 1% biker with the patches to prove it once told me,,any bike is better than none,,in his opinion he likes harleys much better than anything else,,because it was made in america and he grew up on riding upright,,,,but at all there functions all bikes and makes are welcome

i wouldnt want to get into the middle of your battle anyways:)..lol you al slug it out some more...but ill say this..most bikers rarely pick on other bike riders..just isnt good edicate..sure alot joke around about jap or american bikes..but most bikers are happy just too see you riding

like all bikes..hell i ride a huskavarna dirt bike every spring and fall<~~best riding times for the dirt..if i was stuck on just one moto bike..i would have a hell of a time dirt bike riding on that springer sence harely doesnt make dirt bikes anymore:( i use to own a old harley 175 sx dirt bike..loved that machine.i ran it till it died 5 years later..couldnt get parts for it..too rare of a machine to buy a new piston and ring and gaskets for it..one dealer told me he spent 500bucks lookin for a 15dollar part,,lol,,eeeeeeeeeeeek

MMM Staga I can see why that looks funny.

Should have added the question mark to somebody say something? or maybe exclamation mark! The Joy of Typos.

Not a very good pic. If I can breathe some life back into the ole scanner I have thousands of pics from runs across the country.
Laz, them bellbottoms got sorta breezy in cold weather, huh?
LOL I used to tape mine to my boots. :D

Heehee. I`ve had many a grin from riders on push button Harleys when they started leaving  the kickstarter off at the at the factory. The look on the faces when you push the button and Rrrr rrrrrr click click. The ole Hunt Magneto will never let you down as long as you have the ummmppphhhhhffffff to kick her over.

yep... mid/late 70's  winter with a rag tied on to the lower legs of the wide glide to keep some of the spray from the front tire from hitting me between the eyes.

As for kick starting... well... If you couldn't kick your own bike over... well... you didn't get any help from the guys I knew... pretty much, if you couldn't start it you didn't deserve to ride it.

Hell..... I was just glad it wasn't a suicide clutch!

The bike is an old CHP police bike.  I cut the cast down a little for riding as I recall and... it had a window taped into it where you could take off and clean and dress the wound..  you could see the bone for  long time.

some cool old pics:) reminds me alot of my dads old biker photo's...he use to give me rides to school on his old hogs:)i know a few guys who still got kick starters on there bikes,,..one guy has a stroked out shovel head..90 cube kit on it..thing is a pain in the royal butt to kick..too much compression..i swear he must loose 20 pounds at each stop,,lol

anyways..ill try to take a pick of my experimental honda spree eater today:) its a 1962 harley topper with a old 500cc honda motor strapped between your legs,,lol,i allready had a ton of people tring to buy it off me,it not far off from being completed,,going to take it around to runs once and a while..i would be afraid to sell it..thing mite be too fast for its own good,.lol
