Ya know, I noticed that. Sort of a shame too because you seem like you might have some potential. :D

You come across as a grumpy sad arse that's never owned his own bike in his life and always dreamed of touring the US on a Harley or something.

You know and I gave you the benefit of a doubt on having enough intelligence to read the thread. Guess I could of been wrong.
Actualy I am a little ticked off, now that  you mention it, on the fact that there still is a few states I have missed.
But hey , I`ll just turn 53 in 7 days so I hope there is still plenty of time to catch up. :D
As far as your racing experience, I can relate to that and I wish you well. When I was 17, (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth:p ), I was working at a bike shop after school , on weekends and through the summer. It was there that I was proposed and accepted an offer to run Motocross. Hell, I was doing it for fun anyway, so I thought why not get paid doing it while using the best equipment and parts, racing leathers and such. There was just a tad difference then than there is now. You know between when it was Motocross and MotoX. We actualy did the "cross" part, unlike today. No fancy ,smancy, indoor, domed, manicured courses. We ran actual Motocross. Was a blast. I also did a little, not much, flat tracking.  Hairy , to say the least, but total adrenline.
Now, I still have that picture of you and your girlfriend on the way to the track. Don`t make me drag it out again. :D

plunking down your plastic to buy plastic doesn't make you a biker anymore than a new pair of cowboy boots make you a cowboy or haveing some "billet head" TV star build you a 2005 '32 ford makes you a hot rodder.

In that respect... there is no "brotherhood".   It may or may not be more fun to talk to someone who shares your interest in a hobby but more than likely..  if you built yours and he didn't or vice versa... you won't have much in common.

There are zillions of motorcycles out there and they are more like cars than anything... electric start.. fairings... electronic engine controls... if it don't start... put it on a trailer and take it to the dealer.

They are much easyier for women to ride tho.... maybe you can try some "brotherhood" on them.

The Harley crowd has has many wanabes as the tank humpering psuedo racers. Can you imagine trailering your big Harley cruiser. :rofl

LOL That  hits the nail on the head.
Guess they need to start a new terminology for these folks. Maybe the could be called Instaschoolers. :D

Here is one of Mann`s pieces I was talking about that  combines Old School rods and scooters. Matter of fact it`s one of my favorites.

milomor... I agree.  I have nothing in common with the accountants/women  on Harley's these days.

Here is another one of Mann`s pieces that always, always brings a smile to my face. I had the full size of this one mounted and coated on walnut at one time. It eventualy got ripped off.

The reason it makes me smile everytime is that represents a "been there, done that" kind of thing.
  In `71 me and another guy had put together a place for partying, hanging out ,etc. It was eventualy dubbed The Sin Palace by the !st Baptist Church pastor in this small town. (another long story :D }
I had came in one day, parked my scoot outside beside my buds that had been sitting out front all night the night before.
I grabbed a beer and walked out in front to BS. Here came another one of our dastardly bunch running pretty hot with the local`s squad car chasing him.
He grinned, waved and hauled *** .
In a few minutes the local showed up along with a county squad car. Both was convinced I was their man. :D
While I was talking to the local I noticed the county deputy walk over and "feel" the heads and exhaust  on my buds scoot. The local was yammering at me and got me distracted. When I again looked in the direction of county deputy he was kneeled down with his hand reaching for the cutoff drag pipes on my scoot. I yelled, but it was too late. SIZZLE!!
Both of the cops eventualy found out I was not "their man" when the other guy pulled in and told them it was him, not me.
Both apologized to me and we got some burn ointment on the county deputy`s hand. The county deputy and myself later became pretty close friends.  A couple years after this the deputy, along with another deputy, were delivering a prisoner to  a TDC prison facility. The prisoner waited until  they had entered the main gate, reached between the cage and the seat, took my friend`s service revolver and shot him in the back of the head, killing him on the spot.
I never see this piece that I don`t think of him and times gone past.

Screwlu, you have allready been nominated and awarded. Go pick up your trophy in the other thread .
That guuuuurly mon is beginning to shine through again.
My ride has allready been discussed here on this board  more than once.
If you weren`t so busy trying to come up with more ways to say "Make the bad man stop" and adjusting your bra straps you would know that.
Try clicking your ruby reds together three times.

You keep infesting this thread with all your "I'm better than you, more real than you, a real Biker etc

No where have I said that I am better than anyone. Nowhere have I said I`m more real than anyone. The other can speak for itself.
What I have said is YOU are not a biker. You are not. You are either pick one-------> a motorcycle enthusiast, a Yup on wheels or a RUB, but most of all you are a poor excuse for a troll.

If it was for bikers, why are you here?
If you spoke the language then the rest would be clear. You don`t. I have nothing to prove to anyone...especialy not a guuuuurrly mon. (Read that as you if it still don`t come through).
What are you whining about anyway and why?
Do I threaten your feminine side or exactly what is the deal here ScrewLu?
I have asked it before and I will ask it again.
Do you have anything against the term Motorcycle enthusiast? If so what?
The other two catagories gettin closer to home or what?
You ride in your " street shoes and suit" as described by the sauna man or what?
Come on out with it. You will feel a lot better. :D

BTW That was a nice little edit job you did above on the "make the bad man stop" post of yours.
You know where you were kickin and screaming in text "fug off and go to another thread" .
Hell if you don`t mean it, don`t put it in in the first place.
