Reality or fiction?

Strat has always been a good thing to bomb. Is the strat suply system back up and working like it is saposed to? Cities, factories ect... They all make a difference when it comes to base resuply and zones. Most of the players have no idea how it works or what all those buildings do. Even trains used to be worth killing when it came to hindering the resuply of a base.

So if you were enjoying a game of football with your friends, and some fat headed jerk walks onto the field, picks the ball up and walks off with it... you would keep quiet and calmly walk home without saying anything?

Because that is exactly what happens when someone bombs the hangars and takes the fun away - you have to expect that those playing at that field are going to be slightly miffed.

Bad  analogy, furball.  Here's a more accurate one:  You are playing football, and enjoy defending against the passing game.  The opposing team runs the ball a lot.  Would you adapt, or whine about how their way of playing the game is somehow...wrong?

We already know the answer, by the way.  Would you like some cheese with that?

You misunderstood what i was saying i think, read a little more closely.  I am talking about a direct situation, i have nothing against people that bomb or take bases, as i like using them as targets.

I'm not whining, i am just clarifying a situation why some people get frustrated when a certain type of 'bomber pilot' ruins the game for countless people fighting somewhere.

Actually, I read your post pretty carefully.  You are missing my point.  If 999000, or fungi987, or whoever bombs your furball base, it's YOUR fault.  Why?  Here's why:

1.  Bombers don't sneak well.  The whole big, slow thing.
2.  Bombers are relatively easy to defend against.  See (1) above.

Hey, a few dedicated cherry pickers/vulchers hanging around the nearest enemy base does WONDERS for keeping the bombers under control.  Also, please remember that the AH world does NOT revolve around you.  I know that's hard to accept, but your furball is in the way of me taking your base.

So, we take out your FHs.  Then the furballers lose interest and go away.  Then we take the base.  If we don't take out the FHs, then the furballers (and other, more respectable base defenders) keep upping and suicidally hurling themselves at the goon and or troops.  This whole "leave the FH up and we will be happy" crap is just that--you (and your fellow travellers) have repeatedly stated that all base capture should be eliminated for "the good of the game".  Somehow, you think that making base capture more difficult will make it go away.  It hasn't so far, and I don't think it will.

It is SO difficult to try to have an adult discussion around here, what with the children being allowed to post and all.

i would be interested to see exactly where i have "repeatedly stated that all base capture should be eliminated"

i dont think i have EVER said that.  it appears you think i am something or someone i am not.

I don't agree with this analogy.  It is more like the neighbor saying get off my lawn, go play your football game at the park down the street.  No one took the football away, they just made you go play elsewhere.  And come on guys, it is not like it is hard to find a fight in another location with hundreds of bases on these big maps.

I can't imagine what degrading comments 999000 could be referring to from his own countrymen, but I know you would never hear such a comment from me.  999000 and tatertot play this game with as much zeal, enthusiasm and politeness as anyone I know, and should not be the target of such criticism.  What is wrong with flying bombers at the treetops?  It is no different than furballers who never climb above 5K for a fight.

999000, you need to return to the Knights, and Tatertot too.  Return to your homeland my prodigal son!

Furbie, I thought ou said you were out of this one?

And tracerx, with all due respect, 999000 and tatertot should come back to the Bish, where we love and respect  them.  We might even drop our Birds of Prey "never swap countries" rule for this one special case.

Superdud and the Bk's......if you say you want bases captures eliminated and are interested in furballs only why don't people use the dualing arena with the two bases and the meet in the middle fight? seems the structure of the DA is set up to meet these needs.
