Kraut is an American nick for German. I don`t think it is accepted any more than Ami.

I'd like to see hmmm, Malan versus Mölders? Or Galland versus R.S.Tuck.

If Bruno is Batz,

then he's learned to spell and type since the last posts I saw.  IIRC, our batzie couldn't put a successful sentence together on his best day.

"Ami" is rather commonly used in German FYI
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

IIRC, Wotan acknowledged being Batz somewhere on this BBS.

Note that Bruno has not denied being Bruno; he's ignoring the question.

I believe this is a thread about a TV show.  It's the history channel... Made and produced in the US.  Yes all know that the "enemy" had great pilots.  In fact, pilots had alot of respect for each other no matter what side they were on!  You can continue this extraneous point-counter point line of thinking all day.  Oh, and it has NOTHING to do with getting history right or wrong.  Go watch the show and get back on subject.
