I best not complain about peoples spelling too much or some grizzly going to bite my behind.
I'm going to hide in the dipsy doodles now so the grizzly can't find me.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Let's make things more simple, and use some courtesy.
I remember , some times ago, after beta AH some friends players of japan nationality showed their disappointment in being called with that abbreviation cause it was considered (at wwii times),and  it is nowadays , as a derogatory term, in their country.
Then all the comunity agreed in not using it
Its not a matter of freedom of speech, nor HTC willin, or  other, its only an act of kindness to some friends of this community.

Booz, whether or not I use the words regularly (matter of fact I don't, really, except "redneck" -- which I am partly), doesn't negate the problems involved with trying to censor them.

If ideas were being censored you would have a point.

Derogatory terms that insult people do not belong in any discussion even if they are not banned.

Racist slang is not welcome here! If you dont think thats racist or derogatory ask  a Japanese WWII vet how they feel about being called that. You may end up with a black eye!

Free Speech came from the notion that it is a right to comment against your Government without the freedom of reprisal.  This has nothing to do with the right to be insulting to anyone and hide behind that incorrect interpretation of that constitutional right.

What goes on in here is far to often the same thing as being invited into someones house, peeing on their carpet then crying foul when they are kicked to the curb.

Have an ouce of courtesy, try it once in a while, you might find it rewarding.

If you think it's cute to hide behind a text buffer, I urge you to walk on any city street corner and repeat your conversation.  If you can walk back here in one piece without your leg ripped off and beaten over your head, it might be something you'd like to share here.  You can't hide your character, no matter how much people hide behind "it's just a game, geez people, lighten up"

Oh come on WTC, everyone knows you cannot even give the impression of using derogatory terms and racist comments about other nations and cultures on the BBs...unless of course it's about Mexicans and/or Canadians.  They are sanctioned events here.
