Personally I think the LW arena has become the NEWB arena. 75% of the pilots I run into in there are either Ho'rs, hit and runners or gangers or all of the above,lol. I rather fly the MW arena because it seems the pilots in there know how to fly!

Oh, my bad. The LW cap's too low, LW2 sucks, no one flies in EW, no one flies in MW, 150 people quit playing, 90% of us want the old MA back, it's not fair because you can't log in to the LW, and EW should be called the Hurri2C arena, but other than that, you love the new setup.

LW being full all the time proves that that's the way THE MAJORITY of people wanna play, anything else is just HTC trying to "force" people to play a different way.

It seems to be the guys from EW and MW pushing the buttons to me, they seem to be the ones who can't seem to grasp that the changes are what they are. There is plenty of running, vulching, hoing, picking, hordeing, ganging and milking going on in those arenas but all i see is a few babies crying about the LW still...if you don't play in there and don't like it then who cares?

Hmmmm ... I see it from a different point of view.

I have seen numerous posts from the LW crowd asking for HT to get rid of the EW and MW and restore the old MA. The posts are now about the CAP in LW ... I have yet to voice a counter-opinion as to that request ... up the CAP ... I could care less ... just don't touch EW and MW.

Yes ... the running, vulching, hoing, picking, hordeing, ganging and milking is still part of all the arenas ... I just see a lot less milking in MW and if I can get a couple of other guys to up with me ... we usually spoil their attempts, which sometimes turns into an ongoing battle (like the old MA) which is perfect. Vulching, hoing, picking, hordeing, and ganging is usually the exception in MW as opposed to the rule ... from what I have seen and encountered.

I can't figure out why some that say they don't play in or like the LW insist they know everything about it's play mentality

You have got to remember that some of us have been around for quite some time too ... so we all know too well what the LW/MA "play mentality" is/was ... so we can speak to it.

What I have seen though it seems that the higher HT raises the cap on LW the more LA-7's and Spit-16's I see and get ganged by.. Give it some time and give it a try ... the MW (which I fly in the most) is becoming populated with what appears to be a "regular" crowd and an excellent bunch of people to fly with or against. I have had more fun in the MW in the last week than I have had in the last year and a half in the MA.

I tell ya a secret (don't tell Lazs) but I have participated in more capture attempts in the MW than I have in the MA in the last 2 years ... the captures in the MW (for the most part) are more entertaining and fun ... get about 5 to 10 guys and go for it ... when they start upping 5 or more ... it becomes a battle and the capture then requires more effort and coordination ... which to me is more fun. When a field capture gets to the point of waiting in line for a vulch ... thats when I leave and find something else to do.

If you are waiting around and others are waiting too ... guess what ... it won't happen.

I must add that the map is the all determining variable in MW ... if the wrong map is up ... well ... gameplay sucks, but I will still try to make the best of it. I will wait patiently for those (Clifra, etc) who are putting forth the efforts to make new maps for all us freeloaders.

Can't argue with the "MAJORITY" claim ... LW is the most populated ... but ... HT did not "force" myself and all the others who have made the EW and MW our homes in Aces High. He gave us an option that has renewed the game for me and I am sure others too ... for that ... HT is a PUT ... um GOD !!!

Slap, I respect your opinion. I have seen one thread asking for cap increase in LW, maybe I have missed some.

Milking will happen in all arenas I agree so why would some insist that it's the way only LW guys play, I take exception to that since i play in there.

I guess my point there would be that if you don't like it in there and you don't want to play in there then why do people care what goes on in there so much? Not you specifically but many others who can't seem to go a post with flaming on the LW.

I'll try to spend more time in MW, you're right that if we wait until it begins to fill up it might never get to that point.

Hubs, I apologize. the posts that have been spewed by both sides of the coin seems to have gotten out of control. I in no way meant to antagonize you, or anyone else, in my posts.

I'm just tired of reading that anyone who actually likes the LW has to be a certain kind of player. It's so far from the truth to be laughable.

wasn't referring to you personally slap, but those who want to fly in the LW when the cap has been reached are forced to fly in other arenas, just my take on things.
