Some gems from our friend choochoo........ Enjoy
Frodo
The Tigers have three pitchers that can hit 100+ mph on the gun...amazing. None of them are older than 23. Joel Zymeya (sp) can and did reach 105 mph. 105 mph !!!!!! That's got to be the record. Now, my point, the tigers have all these young pitchers + thier farm system is bursting with even younger arms.
Tigers Nation Will Reign Supreme
I am a Tigers fan - so I'm a bit biased, but get used to the Tigers winning for a very long time.
Zumaya will make the Cards his huckleberry.
Sorry Cards. Game 7..you need Dream Weaver on the mound.
Lets see what Puljols does with a 105 mph heater.
Tigers in 4...Bring out da Brooms
We'll see if Puljols can stay in the box and turn on a 105 mph fastie. The only man in the majors that has hit Zumya consistiently has been Ken Griffey... hand speed + courage to stand there.
Pujols is the ultimate HGH, Steriod (designer to beat the tests) head who excels when AAA mid relief steps in to pitch.
Pujols is the garbage man who steps up in garbage time.
Verlander is starting game one. The garbage man will be on a world stage in
35f weather and a pitcher thats going to bust him inside with 100 heat.
He will be exposed for what he is and has been this postseason.
Look for Jeff Weaver (aka Dream Weaver) to be very emotional tonight, he grew up in the Tigers organization and was the ace of the staff until they sht canned him cause they thought he had head problems...something about pot, booz and sexual escapades on board the Tigers jet.
I hope for the Cards sake that the team chemist comes up big. After all, this is the organization who featured a 6'5" roid monster- complete with acne, hair loss and other signs of roid abuse and packaged him as baseball's great hope.
To bad they can't test for HGH or other designer meds, if they could- Meat Head would be back on the Island where he came from.
Kenny Rodgers (aka "The Gambler") was dealing it....pine tar and all ..LOL.
I swear I saw Meathead shooting up between innings.
And of course..he was a no show.
Damn..no more Birds chirping...they must be nervous ..LOL
You better win game 3. Nate Roberston is Detroit's weakest pitcher (by far). If you don't win this one- then its going to be a 5 gamer.
Also, you better jump on Nate early...if you don't then Lyland is going to call out Zumya to help Nate out. If the game is lost then Zumya will rest. If you see Zuyma on the mound, then its all over for the Birds.
Now the Birds will have to face Detroit's two strongest pitchers:
Jeremy Bonderman
Justin Verlander
Good Luck..
I hope meathead dosen't run out of syringes.
Justin Verlander is the AL Rookie of the year and he will be Pitching against Jeff Weaver (aka Dream Weaver). Verlander didn't do so well in game one because of the week off. His fast ball was in the mid 80's- this from a guy who touches 100 mph routinly.
Look at the gun early and see if he's in the mid 90's. If he is, game over, because he'll be touching 100's and he will be un-hitable.
Weaver is a low character player who will choke tonight, just like meathead (aka hgh, steroid head) has.
Tigers will win tonight.
100 wins for the next 5 years. Cards will be eating scraps.
+ its only a matter of time untill meathead gets caught doping, then he will be back to selling bannas.
