Well, at least we had the guts to print those cartoons. No major US newspaper did. If it comes to genocide, we're historically good at that too. No worries. ;)

And your Strategic Rocket Forces are first rate!

Hey, is this stat correct?

. Five days before 9/11, the Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet reported that 65% of the country's rapes were committed by "non-Western" immigrants -- a category which, in Norway, is almost wholly Muslim.

And is it true your government apologized for printing the cartoons?

Quote
Foreign Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre, a leading member of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg’s Workers’ Party, wrote the following e-mail to the Norwegian embassies:

I am sorry that the publication of a few cartoons in the Norwegian paper Magazinet has caused unrest among Muslims. I fully understand that these drawings are seen to give offence by Muslims worldwide. Islam is a spiritual reference point for a large part of the world. Your faith has the right to be respected by us.

The cartoons in the Christian paper Magazinet are not constructive in building the
bridges which are necessary between people with different religious and ethnic backgrounds. Instead they contribute to suspicion and unnecessary conflict.

Let it be clear that the Norwegian government condemns every expression or act which expresses contempt for people on the basis of their religion or ethnic origin. Norway has always supported the fight of the UN against religious intolerance and racism, and believes that this fight is important in order to avoid suspicion and conflict. Tolerance, mutual respect and dialogue are the basis values of Norwegian society and of our foreign policy.

Freedom of expression is one of the pillars of Norwegian society. This includes tolerance for opinions that not everyone shares. At the same time our laws and our international obligations enforce restrictions for incitement to hatred or hateful expressions.

The cartoon just wasn't funny. Besides, we've done a bit more to draw the fanatics attention than just critical comics of Mohammad.

Yup. Which is why we all know that Oslo is not a very likely target.

California was named by a moslem sect that wished to restablish the Cailphate in the new world.
The Caliph was a position in early Islam analagous to the Pope, but in Bagdad & not Catholic.  It ceased to be in the 13th century when the Mongols captured Bagdad, but there have been movement to reestablish the office from time to time.  Currently they're working on it in the Fergana Valley

Alot of Europe is just sick of war as we know what having a war in our countries really means. The US has thankfully not had that lesson yet so its abit easyer to be so brave when it all happens "over there" somewere.

I beg to differ!

I for one am proud of my country as a whole.

I am embarrased by what the liberals are trying to do to us but I think over all we are doing the right thing and am proud we have a President who is more worried about the big picture than he is about pissing off a few limp wristed countries.

You guys don't want to stand up and fight for what is right? Fine! Step aside and let the real men do it.

as long as they are giving up their women so freely and retracting cartoons... there is no real need to wipe out no way.
