109E's indeed they are :)

It's great fun in the MA flying an Early war bird in a big furball.

The E4 and F4 are fantastic in the MA.

I bagged a Tempest in a F4 a while ago, that was a good laugh.

G'day mate. How's things?

Nothing new to report, same old same old here. Are you not playing for a while?

Got a couple screenies today...I took the 152 out for a spin this morning. She needs a face lift and and tummy tuck for sure (cockpit and FM) but it's still fun, even if you do have to be a bit ginger with it.

The ultimate buff slayer:

And this was the least expected result in this fight.

I merge with this P 47N at 25k with a 3k height disadvantage and relatively low speed, given that I had just climbed to that altitude to meet said Jug.

Jug reverses and gains from my low 6.... I take it up... take some hits from 800 and 600 out... but then I start extendeding rapidly in an anti-clickwise spiral climb.... get out to 1.0k and I start to get around behind the Jug... so I make a pass... He evades and I go back up (nearing 30k at this point). He decides to dive and I roll and follow.... which brings us to this point...

940 Km per hour dive.... controls locked up with extreme buffet (I didn't realise I'd picked up so much speed so enormously quickly).  It took me 22 thousand feet to pull out of the dive safely (2.8k when I leveled out).

Great fun!

Bit more 152 fun:

Bumped into m00t... he must have thought I was a real dork flying next to him like this... but it was all for the screen shot

Couple of turns with a spit

Later in the fight I misjudged the length of the 152's wings and bumped into Hapster.... no damage to him but I lost a wingtip (which was fair enough, I blew it). On my way out a squadie in need called for assistance, as a Raw Prawn through and through I jumped in to lend a hand

That one got a laugh on Squad channel.

If it's possible could you get some screens of the F4U for me :D ? I've been AH sick ever since Oct. 19th.

That would be great if you could though, and i can't wait untill i'm able to return to the good ol rook nation :aok .   Plus i miss posting my good old missions :( .

I spend the majority of my time in the MA in the F4.  My philosophy behind it is taking the worse plane in a fight helps me become a better pilot.  If I'm going up against an LA7 of spit16, I know I have to use my few plane's advantages to win the fight.  It helps me focus on manuevers more over can my plane out run or out climb my foe.
