while im all YAY for large maps, offpeak just cant support them.

would make more sense, 1933-1942 arena, and 2x 1942-1945 arenas.

Off peek on the weekeneds is like 300 people total thats plenty for larger maps why not try it this weekend its a long us weekend so numbers will be up.

"offpeak" generally 9-5 UK time has a max of 160ish players.

Once your done with the large maps on the weekends then make kinda of a weekly Monday reset like the old Wednesday reset on Saturaday morning US time this would also help with the boring stall maps that never get reset. There are ussually 150 in both LW arenas and another 50 in the EW MW TA and DA on the weekends off time thats right around a 350 total average thats plenty to populate a old MA map. Your forgetting during off peek hours with the 1 arena there where only like 200 players in the arena at the max during these hours.

Look, if offpeak cannot support it like you are stating, then we could do what Skuzzy and HT did before the conversion of the 4 areas:  For offpeak hours just close off bases to milk runners and just keep a handful of bases open for capture.  When the arena gets to 200 or more players, then the map automatically opens up all bases for capture.

1 more thing regarding offpeak, there were times where there were 125 players during offpeak and we ran the large maps just fine.

it is geting to be a bit much same stuped maps, the same map is in 3 of the 4 rooms,it would be alteast nice to see 4 different maps in each room, that may be to much to ask for thow.

I just got off the phone with skuzzy and basically he told me that the larger maps need to get some rework done but it is a matter of sitting down with the boss and getting it approved.

He also said there were problems with milkrunners and that it was a detriment to the whole AH community.

I'll call him again in a couple of weeks to see if there is progress made.

The arena split was the best whatever could have happened to the milkrunning community. Can't get worse.

If you just put together the 2 MA' and reintroduce the large maps, the milkrunners will stay in EW & MW. So I don't see the problem. But that's just me...

Have you not ever been to a restraunt that had dining areas that were closed off during off peak business times, but opened those area's up during their busiest hours?  Same difference.

All my suggestion was is to "try" the weekend idea.  Large maps full time won't work because they are too large for normal off peak hours.  A large map in just one LW would be a problem because everyone would be lined up to get into that one arena.  Still there are times that justify usage of large maps, and there are constant complaints about stale maps...so, it's just a thought.

sadly it's a matter of kick and scream all we like, we're  heard but not listened too.

i have made THREE threads on this matter which all clearly highlighted the communal desire for more maps.

Funny you should say that.  When I told skuzzy on the buzz on this thread, he told me that this is only 1/10th of 1% of members contribute to these threads.  He even said non-paying members use a lot of these threads which leave me to wonder if they are even hearing the "communal desire."

I wonder:huh
