Well they did park them on the airfield perimeter pointing the cannons down the road during the Battle of the Bulge when the Germans started getting too close.  I guess we could be an Armored division instead? :)

I'm up for flying an A8 Stampf, been messing around in that thing looking for buffs, have to say, the A8 is deadly when you get in the right position.

October...Ouch ! I joined in May and luckily was able to participate in the Operation Husky scenario in June. At the time I thought they ran Scenarios every other month ! Well, I'm looking forwad to this one, looks great too. Thanks to all who set these things up

Man I wish I had the pic of me great-grandpappy scanned, taken in 1917 or 1918 when he was home on leave and seeing his daughter for the first time. No pickelhaube but definitely German. And my relatives still live in the house in the pic too.

I need a scanner.
