Was just saying. Before you even posted that I had a bad feeling that there might be a air start and that wouldn't be good.

False Alarm!  I'm OK.  Nothing a few bandaids and some duct tape won't take care of.

Thanks for your concern :)

Just make sure you do it right. Band-aids go on the plane, duct tape goes on the pilot!

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Anytime you give one side a 20K alt head start its bad. That just gives them more time to climb into space. If they want to go high, then they should be forced to pay for going high by climbing for hours to get there, not just given the alt.

But again thats just a opinion.

But of course letting the LW camp at 35K waiting for em is realistic too :)

Realistic and making the event fun for all is a huge balance. By letting some one camp at 35k sure it will be fun for the 35k team but the others sure wont be thrilled when they get hit by 35K pilots.

Thats why the one-off scenarios usually have the wind layer set to keep you below 30K.

Besides, most AH planes don't seem to me like they fly "right" above about 25K anyway, I've caught 109s wallowing (or been the wallower) above that when they should have been flying rings around any USAAF fighters in the setup. Heck, I've had WEP on in a G6 and at that height its all I can do to maintain a 1K climb with DT and gondolas.

That's the point.

Getting it so it's fair for both sides.
