:rofl  He'll tell ya that it FEELS like 30 years because his 10 years of dealing with Kesmai aged him 20 years!
Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

No way.  If there are occasional WWII vets who play (and there are), you've got 40 more years to go before you can outgrow it. :)

I wouldn't. No, I mean that in the most earnest manner possible. Stall limiter is not "RR" like AW had. It doesn't change the flight model at all, it simply limits your perceptions of the flight model, and then limits your input into that flight model, to avoid stalling.

The end result? It might seem easier, but you're literally being handicapped compared to everybody else.

Bite the bullet. Learn how to fly without stall limiter. You WILL be better off without it. I've seen many pilots that develop that crutch, but have such a hard time turning it off after years of use.

Just avoid stall limiter always, and the curve might be a LITTLE more steep, but you will be better off for it in so many ways.

Bugger. Yeah - paying $6/hr aged me a decade thats for sure (and it went UP from $5 to $6, mind you).

Still twenty years of anything is a scary proposition. That's twice as long as most marriages last.

You paid $6/hr.  But I had no local number for the POP so I paid $6/hr for the game and about another $6/hr for long distance charges.  Now that hurt.

Good to "see" you Dok.

6dollars an hour caused wifeack to go insane.  I played about 5 weeks AW DOS and left in 1991 .   I came back again later, couple years if I remember correctly and it was somewhat cheaper as I recall.  The first Handle I had was Moxie.  Can't for the life of me remember what tail numbers were.

Guess wasn't important enuff at that time.  Switched to AOL AW4W in 95.
Left AOL Hell when they started charging and went to Kesmai again.

In late 99 dloaded AH and played around offline a little.  Then in 2000 played both AW and AH.  May of 2000 (I think) left AW and stayed exclusively with Aces High.

Now....where do I live and what's my name???

Memory fades with age:huh

I remember some of my bills getting above $300 for AW, I know that is nothing compaired to some of the other AW vets bills. I wonder where all that money went because that was some big money billed each month?
