I started playing Warbirds in -95. Moved over to AH the first day of the open beta so I've been here since Beta tour one.

Long timers are far far fewer then half the player base I think.

Started back in 2/2001. Left and come back a number of times due to time constraints. Just finished my M.B.A. so hopefully won't be leaving again anytime soon! Started again about 2 weeks ago after a nearly 2 year break. ACM is coming back quickly enough, my aim on the other hand seems to be carrying most of the rust...

Yup.  My aim was incredibly off as well.  Do yourself a favor and find a friend who's willing to be target practice for you in the TA.  Get a feel for the gunnery as it's changed big time since we've last flown.

And, I am still a crappy pilot and can't shoot for >>>>:lol

Although, I am getting pretty good at bombing tanks and such with  a P38 :)

Started in Air Warrior 3 in 98 played slightly over 3 years there until EA (Electronic Aholes) killed it in Nov of 2001. Then took about 3 months before the DT's got the better of me and I showed up here in late Feb 02 (tour 25) as SHawk6 in those days.:aok

Been around since Warbirds 1.x.  Don't remember the year exactly.  Flew with VMF-257 "Wildbunch", then the Pale Horses.  Took a LONG break, came back to Warbirds then switched to Aces High.  Flew with a few different squads mostly Gold.  Currently away from the game but look forward to coming back soon.

Hi All!

Was in AW starting oh, 1991 or 1992, flying with the --)-Musketeers---, Bman, Athos, and those folks. Tail number was 3198. Went through the Genie days and then the AOL glory days (ton o'baby seals days). Watched the game transition from half time, to real time and then full real physics in real time. We went from 300 baud modems to DSL.

Did the AW Training thing where we got comped free days, when the game was $6 an hour. When you got a free day you played 24 hours straight. Made you get good fast :).

Went to work for MS and helped design Fighter Ace 2.0 and 3.0 and did some stuff on Combat Flight Sim.

In 15 years or so, I've only flown with one squad and only under one basic handle, Rapier.

Started flying AH about 6 months ago and I'm enjoying it a lot.

Great to be here and nice to see all the old timers still about :).

Thanks!
