so how many people have been cured of anything by snake venom?  If there is even one then ok... let em live in habitats (the snakes) and labs.

If a cat let you sneak up on it then it was a cat that was very comfortable around humans.

I like the fact that cats kill snakes tho.   good kitty.   If you are being attacked by cats then you are either a very strange guy with a strange idea of what being attacked is or...

cats are a better judge of character than I had previously thought.

the only time I worry about cat attacks is when I do cat juggling and even then.... good welding gloves will suffice to cut down on injury.

Well, since you want to know, several people have. But since the cures are still being tested, they haven't seen widespread use yet. Although, the signs so far are good, as there have been no bad affects from the venom cures. So far, it has been nothing but good reports.

Is several.... 2?  is it certain that they would not have been "cured" without the venom?

Is 2 people saved every couple of decades worth all the people killed and injured by snakes every year?

The cat didn't let me sneak up on it. It didn't know I was there. Cats aren't omniscient, and they can be snuck up on if you know how to. All animals can. As for me idea of what being attacked is: When an animal or person comes at you with the intent to maim or kill you. And you can't wear welding gloves over your legs, and blue jeans don't help very much.
