I only watched this one. excelent film! shows all the characteristics of 'smart flying' without needing to fly at 40k.  FX demonstrates here very good flying to stay alive(maybe a few kill steals also :p)

thanks for posting.

S! FX1 very good flying.

Thanks Bat

That flight started with a 28 kill run. After my first rearm i got real stupid and had a couple close calls. I only wish i had those encounters on film. WMlute came really close with his N1k of ending my flight. I mistook his N1k for a newb that had been head hunting me. We danced from 10k down to the deck. After that close call i was flying some what timid for my taste (: Thats when i started to film..

FX1, you a zen master or something? :D

On that 5 on 1 clip, you managed to jink away *just* in the knick of time, without even looking at what you were jinking from!

Around the 54 second mark I think.

Nice flying - nice flying indeed :aok

FX1, you have always been a great cartoon pilot and a class act as well. Well done

I agree with Bat, these are some very good training films.  Actually, the word might be inspirational films, as many may never get to the skill level shown here.  FX, nice flyin bud, .:aok

Thanks guys!

When i first started flying i got owned by a particular pilot over and over one night. I would come in at 6k over his head and he would kill me every time. That night i found out that I had so much more to learn in the game and that you didn't need the advantage to kill.

I found a couple films from this pilot and started to practice his moves. I played close attention to his overshot reversals that fool you into thinking that you can make the shot. Also i was sold on the spit after that encounter.

Leviathn

I asked Shawk if knew this guy and his response was.....

"Dont let Levi up off the field, hes one deadly mofo"

Was watching 54 kills and near the end someone asked SHawk where he was headed. The reply was "where ever FX is". I stoped my hand 1 inch from the button on my stick I use for squad vox. Was going to say "feal safer with him around do ya?" the way I would rib one of the better players in my squad.

The mark of a good film(or movie) is when I forget all about my piece of reality. Good job.
