If you HAD to relocate?

Monaco ... I like some of the Bond films.

Belize....rpm beat me to it.

Norway.  Consistently ranks as one of the best places in the world to live.

Canada, specifically Toronto.   I personally like the region and can still ride my motorcycles in the lower 48.

Austria based on central European location and scenic beauty.... quick hops over der border to places such as Prague, Munich, Budapest, Bern, Venice, Stuttgart....

Japan

- Cleanest place in the world (err probably 2nd to Singapore)
- Almost crime-free
- Advanced transportation and internet infrastructure.
- Advanced electronic gadgets unseen in the western world.

And after long hours of work, I would take a break here:aok

OR I can just retire at my home country at Visayas, Philippines.  Gotta love the white sand beaches there:aok

Australia - an incredible country!...

I was born and spent my childhood in Leningrad, so Aussie attitude fits me. "What? Who cares, mate?!" :) People talking to me in the streets, just out of curiosity, without any particular reason.

Bumper sticker "So many fish, so few sickies!".

I spent almost 2 months there, and I was impressed by the people much more then by nature or weather.

The only disappointment I had was when in Sydney in a bar at the King's Cross I ordered a double-vodka. It was served in a boiling-hot glass! :) Maybe bartender just checked me, but with my experience I just waited for a glass to chill down so I'll not burn my lips and swallowed it smiling :D

Maybe Texas, that is a whole differant country than the rest of the USA.   Not better, but at least they speak a version of English, food is either beef or Mexican, and they now have air conditioning so you don't have your brains fry. :D

lol

That's the exchange rate - 118 yen per dollar. A cheeseburger costs 100 yen (85 cents) in Japan. When you consider that kids make about $9 per hour working there, pay substantially less taxes than in the US, have health insurance and the average family has over $100,000 cash in savings, it isn't too bad a price.

Australia sounds like a choice until the statute of limitations expires. :D

I thought you were an immigrant already. Did you lose your visa?

D'OH! I read the wrong column. The correct price according to the chart is $2.37, about the same as the US.

No it's 100 yen, rpm. That list is wrong. Don't worry about screwing up exchange rates. I have a tough time too when I go to Thailand or almost anywhere.
