Lusche, that wasn't fruitless at all. You stopped the milk-running.:)

Nah, he just made them shift targets...which is SOMEwhat satisfying, but the goal is some sort fight between PEOPLE, and it's obviously not a shared goal

No I didn't because they went to the other front. And by the way, it wasn't exactly my genuine intention to stop them, or to pi** someone off. Everybody can milk all day if they like. I just wanted to fight and kill.

In the end, we both could have been a bit frustrated: They didn't get any bombing or capture points, but I didn't get any kills either :(

OIC ~ when they meet opposition from one team, they switch to the other front.  Yeah, I guess I can see where that would get frustrating if they don't fight at all.

And, OIC, it's not the base capturing portion of milk-running that y'all don't like... it's the turning from a fight part that y'all don't like.

Well.... for me at least it's business as usual.  I only play the late wars and I only log into the most populated, as I've always done.  Still commanding CV's except my rank seems a little higher than normal:D and I only have 1 base capture.

Obviously the ones that have played for rank since the split arenas are erm, fading a little.  Those of us with rank knowledge from the old 1 MA system seem to be fairing a little better but then again schools not out:rofl

Why you guys even worry about the Scorepotatos? Why even have a thread about them. You all say score doesn't matter to you, but you spend hours complaining about them. Why even give a crap about the top ranked guys, let him have his rank if that turns him on....You guys complaining about them seem more pathetic then the scorepotatos themselves. Sorry I just don't get why you all care so much.

LOL well I have never been higher than 10th in fighter rank, and now im sitting in the number 2 spot:) I am doing nothing different than i normally do. LOL i think its pretty funny, it does show that there is a problem with the score system all togethere though,

I think it should work like chess, u should have a rating system. like a ladder, and depending on who u shoot down and who shoots u down is how much your score rises or lowers.

I think that's more coincidentally. With combined score, it was easily possible to boost bomber & attack ranks in EW arenas, but not fighter rank. There were so few opportunities for a fight that anyone going there to boost fighter score basically wrecked his K/S and K/H score. Improving fighter score means you need something to shoot down.

Bad idea.  All that does is homoginize the scores and ultimately draws everyone to the middle.

The top scoring person can't kill anyone better than him, so his score drops with each kill (or he scores less for each) while the bottom scored guy can't kill anyone worse than him, so he get's max points for every kill.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Not if you made a minimum point floor.  Say 400 per kill.  1000 max for killlin a high scoring dude. I always suspected that you got more points for killing dudes w/ high scores in AW.  I know that the more kills you had in a row the more points your kills were worth.
