Wow, this thread is getting it from all angles already.  This has nothing to do with the current or future president and nothing to do with the Republican or Democratic Party.

Bottom line is there is an armed crazy man threatening innocent American citizens.  My prayers go out to them and their families.  Let’s hope this ends well.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

Well said. Rather than speculate on motives etc. just let the professionals do their job and hope for a peacefull outcome.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

My intelligence is what it is... dim or bright... I only claim to have what God gave me! :)

I am a moderate just to the right of center and would be concerned for the reputation of the Republican Party as even the extreme right should be.

I hope this does not turn out to be the work of political right wing extremists... nor left wing extremists wishing to cleanse themselves of a candidate purporting to be a Centrist.

Don't read inferences into my sentiments... I will be open about them. This situations isn't about me... it’s about our country and a legitimate presidential candidate.

Personally, I do not agree with most of Clinton's political views.
If you assumed I do then you made a mistake.

If it were a bomber holding hostages in a botched bank robbery I would agree... however, by nature of where he has chosen to take hostages, it speaks of political motivation.

Since it is a breaking story, only time will tell...

Where did I say that???  I don't think the guy is a suicide bomber anyway.

You know exactly what I meant and some posts have already confirmed it...albeit in jest in most cases.

Guns are harmless until someone who wants to be threatening to other people has one in their hands. At that point it doesn't really matter what the person has, be it a gun, home made bomb, or a knife, the person is still a threat. It's all dependant on what mechanism the person chooses to inflict harm with.

Back to the point of this thread though, whoever this guy is, the fact that he has choosen to target Clintons office points towards a polliticaly motivated action. I'll be curious to see how this plays out.

Yes Lazs, armed with a bomb, not a gun.  I believe the definition of armed still works with a bomb.

Perhaps they are concerned the guy might detonate the bomb if they don't kill him outright with one shot.  Not everyone shoots *trash* as well as you do.

They are scared lil sheep and are raised to let the trained professional who cant do anything till he/ she is told to do so from somebody else save them in certain circumstances.

Give the lil sheeps a break. They have been brought up to believe that they are incapable from defending themselves or others around them. The thought is just to much for them to comprehend.
