You should go out and buy a nice thick steak and cook it for your husband tonight. A good wife would.  You gurls have Feb.14th. It's all about you.  March 14th is all about US. :)

I was  pushing a flight and my wife was still unemployed on Valentines day.....so No March 14th for me.

On a lighter note I finally finished my kegorator!  Got a deal on Miller Lite today $30....couldn't pass it up.  If I had the money I'd go get me about 20lbs of rib racks to with it.  It got in the high 80s today in south texas!

Gunslinger , you my friend have entered a new period in life!

There is not greater sense of accomplishment then building your own keggerator and throwing in the 1st celibritory barrel.

just curious does it fit a 1/2 arrel or only a 1/4?
you got a Gas pressure system(CO2 or Nit.)?

It's a Magic Chef Up right fridge with the bottom re-enforced (a left over 4x4 and a 2x6).  It can hold a half or a full keg.   I have a CO2 system for it but I'm still dialing in the preasure.  It's been spouting foam for a while and I've been slowly dialing it down from 7PSI..  I'll get some pics up later!

Got the fridge for free, was sitting on the side of the road and worked just fine.  The CO2 regulator, tap, and spigot were all left in the house when I bought it.

All I had to do was cut out one of the shelves and I'm going to patch up the cracks in the plastic with aluminum tape as I used my reciprocating saw!

The wife likes it because she can store cans of soda, and other drinks in there as well.  It will fit a full or half keg.  All in all it cost me $6 worth of tubing and "O" rings from home depot.  The handle I made from paper, spray glue, and scrap wood.  I drilled a 3/8" hole in the bottome and it seemed to tap itself.

Again I'm still struggleing with the preasure and foam.  I keep turning it down but it eventually bottoms out and poors nothing.  I need to get a drip bucket closer to the spout as I can poor the foam out of the line and then poor the glass.  Right now we are just filling up pitchers and letting them sit a bit.

Hey they kept sending me unwanted E-mail so i had a buddy of mine set me up with a program that would send them a reply every 30sec continuosly till i either stopped it or i shut off my cp. Needless to say i get no more E-mails from them. :t

GS, i built one in college out of a full size fridge with freeze up top(great for the frosted mugs) and i believe  it was best set at lower pressure liek 2-4 psi(thats what i think we were told by the guy at the beer distributer that sold use the tap, spigot, valve and gauges).  im sure you know but make sure you release the presure in the keg once you tap it(i hope the tap you have has a release valve)
