No reason not to perk it, that or make the m16 one perk gainin' mutah.
Dunno how that makes it any better, perks or not, if its effective people will use it.

Honestly i found it funny watching 20mm bounce off that new german gv they added also.

it cant kill things 1.5k +

Even 1.0k is a lucky shot.  Now why perk something that can be bombed quite easily without even getting into gun range.  Vulchers = Dead = GOOD

Shame they restricted the osty

I think Wirbelwind must be perked for same reasons as Firefly - overuse, and to keep Osti and m16 in service.
But sure, HTC will wait some time before final decision, its too early to say does it really deserve perk cost or not.
Btw, vulching is bad  :rofl

Obviously review it at  a later time.  6 months from now and then see if it is still overused.

I must be missing something in regards to the Osti out side of a new set up on it what is the difference? I find it to be the same as before LETHAL in the right hands.

I would agree with you on this one. :salute

The 15000 Werbies on the field even when the VH is down would be kinda bad for the team that is trying to cap it.

Maybe 5 perks, because the turret is still very killable.

But still ROCK ON WITH THE IDEA! :rock

By paging up over the gunsight you could pull of some insane deflection shots and have a better view.  I havent had a long hard tinker with it.  I'm sure shots where the enemy is flying straight at you are still easily do-able.

The lethality of the gun hasn't change.
The new gunshield graphics have just made hitting something  a BIG problem:

I would still prefer the Ostwind in some situations, but now it's near useless for air defense tasks.

In comparison, the Wirbelwind has a nice unobstructed view:

Oh man... I haven't tried the new Osti yet but it looks like they wrecked one of my favorite vehicles.  Boooo!
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Didn't know you could page up on gun sight on older version of the Osti, I guess that explains why it seems to be little change to me in terms of shooting at planes. Thank you Lusche as well for your post.
