But which gang to join?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,350249,00.html

Quote
A couple can't agree on which gang their 4-year-old toddler should join.

A fight about the decision led to a public disturbance with the father's arrest. Joseph Manzanares went to the video store where his girlfriend worked, threatened to kill her and knocked over several video displays, police told KMGH Denver.

Police arrested Manzanares at his home, Commerce City police Sgt. Joe Sandoval told KMGH Denver.

The girlfriend told authorities they were fighting over which gang their son should join. The girlfriend, who is black, is a member of the Crips while Manzanares, who is Hispanic, belongs to the Westside Ballers.

I'm sure kalifornia loses alot of business because of their laws where only criminals can have guns. My inlaws were traveling the country last summer and decided against going into the kali zone because of their laws against upstanding citizens with ccw. They turned north and just considered kali a foreign country. They were on a 3 month tour.

I live on this street, not too far from Nampa MT. When we go to Walmart it's the one in Nampa.

You are about 11 miles from my house, I'm on the south side of Nampa. If you know where the fish hatchery is I'm very close to that. You're probably going to the Walmart on the Garrity exit, next to Sams Club and the Idaho Center. I have one much closer to my house, but we go to Garrity sometimes when we feel like an doing Sams or for auto work. Their tire center guys are great to deal with.

Airhead,

Last time I heard, shooting someone unlawfully and killing them was already against the law. If the presence of a law was a deterrent, they would already have been deterred.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I think it is definitely gang initiations, I live in Northern Virginia and the violent Hispanic gang MS13 is starting to become widespread. Have you ever heard of snopes?  Thought not.  Try googling it and then looking up your little tale.

Reading this thread makes me realise that Europe, Japan, Australia - pretty much anywhere - is safer than the US.

If you prefer safety over freedom never dry a car, fly a plane, or play sports. Soviet Russia was probably safer than the US so long as you toed the party line.

Are you saying that they don't drive cars, fly planes, or play sports in the countries I listed as safer than the US?

I bet they don't have near as many gang bangers as we do. Some of those countries won't even allow affiliation with various political parties.

Amazing how so many of you can get alarmed over this, and then brag about how you carry a gun (illegally BTW) in your car. My solution? Make transport of a loaded, concealed weapon an automatic 10 years in prison.
In my state I can carry a gun in my car...Its legal if you go by the rules...has to be in a locked compatment and in a holster and a ccp
See Rule# 5 on just about every thread!

Yeah, why DO we have so many more gangbangers than those foreign countries?? They don't seem deterred by an armed populace.

Yeah - like the IRA in Ireland became an illegal organization...

... and the Ku Klux Klan became an illegal organization in the US.
