Pretty bad donut if you ask me. :rock :rock :rock

Unit: Stab/SG 2
Serial: <-+- (W.Nr.494193)
Pilot - Geschwader-Kommodore of SG 2 Oberstleutnant Hans Ulrich Rudel. East Front, 1944-1945. Anti-tank plane equipped with two 37 mm Flak 18 cannons.

Rudel was the most successful Stuka's pilot. He was 28 years old and colonel, when the war came end. According western sources Rudel finished the war gaining victories over 519 tanks, 800 trucks, 73 debarkations (of armoured barges), 9 airplanes in air combats, a number of trains, artillery pieces etc... This machine was often depicted with yellow chevron pointing at slat-edge of its left wing.

Only a hand full of 37mm and i don't think it was produced in great numbers. The 37mm was mainly used so destroying ships it would not do a thing to a tank.

totally and incompletely incorrect.  Maybe you should try using the Search function...

Not in the 87g.
Right, but not all of his tank kills were in the 87G either. He also flew the 190F and 190D among others.

with this Ju.87G the side hits would put a hurting on a tank.  No need to find a sweet spot, or atleast it won't be a critical to find one.

I suggest you look up muzzle velocities on both cannons (hurri 40 vs stuka 37).

Then the only reason I can see for the tank busting Stooka is to balance an historical setup featuring tanks. Hmmmmm .... hehe. Yeah, cool beans I say.  :aok
