I don't think dialog boxes appear. However, it would show what was said that got him popped.

Unfortunately, it seems he doesn't have any film or screenies as I asked for either or, in another similar thread.

I give up.

I can't quite seem to convince you all that it really happend, even when I have a friend corroborate the same story.

Fact of the matter is it did happen and I'm just trying to show an example of moderator abuse of power.

Fight the power!!     :rofl

The only convincing that will commence in these forums is with film or screen shots.    (This is where I blatantly point out the period at the end of that sentence)

Unfortunately, what you showed was an inability to give an accurate account of what happened....by your own admission.  :frown:

Third rule of the Internet - where there are pics, there is probably Photoshop...

Considering HTC keeps a log of text, why don't you send an email to them, suggest the time frame and they can have a peek.  If there is a problem, they will deal with it.

I think I've been muted a few times.  I'm sure each time was worth it.  Also probably worth it to my squad to get a few moments of silence.

Got a warning tonight for 200 text, no profanity, not even any masked stuff.
No direct insults to anyone...don't want to go into it here in case the PC brigade
is around.

i can tell ya...if they were my 5 year olds...they wouldn't be saying that......IF they did, they'd, it'd only be once..they'd learn better after that one time.

I agree with you 100%. Kids mouths have gotten out of control, but to me "Pissed off" isn't all that bad.

It's times like these that I'm glad I play off-peak hours.

I say ditch the mods all together. Bad language is a fact of life, you can rise above it or let yourself be offended by it.

If you've got young kids playing.... If you let your young ones out to play with teenagers anywhere else you'd expect them to hear a few 'bad words'... AH is no different. It's up to the parent to moderate the child's behaviour, no one else.

If there are no kids on.... we're all adults and if you can't handle a few bad words.... well, you need to harden the f-k up a little.  :aok  :lol

Record and report people who get personal and insulting and let the rest slide. Leave the auto-warning profanity filter in place and let that do its job.

I may not have the full facts because I don't play American peak times... maybe you guys can't control yourselves?  :lol

Off-peak is not moderated heavily, or so it seems anyway, only Dastrdly seems to get muted regularly and he's completely harmless.

It's a shame you guys have to put up with this crap, I'd be very annoyed if this sort of 1 hour mute nonsense started going on when I played.
