It's times like these that I'm glad I play off-peak hours.
I say ditch the mods all together. Bad language is a fact of life, you can rise above it or let yourself be offended by it.
If you've got young kids playing.... If you let your young ones out to play with teenagers anywhere else you'd expect them to hear a few 'bad words'... AH is no different. It's up to the parent to moderate the child's behaviour, no one else.
If there are no kids on.... we're all adults and if you can't handle a few bad words.... well, you need to harden the f-k up a little.
Record and report people who get personal and insulting and let the rest slide. Leave the auto-warning profanity filter in place and let that do its job.
I may not have the full facts because I don't play American peak times... maybe you guys can't control yourselves?
Off-peak is not moderated heavily, or so it seems anyway, only Dastrdly seems to get muted regularly and he's completely harmless.
It's a shame you guys have to put up with this crap, I'd be very annoyed if this sort of 1 hour mute nonsense started going on when I played.
