Wait a minute, didn't this incident just happen recently?  You know the files can be sorted by date, right?  Base on your initial post, I would be looking for a file in the Jun 25th date range.

Ah! Brilliant! Thank you! I didn't realize you could do that.

Here's the key to the whole thing.

We're in charge of what we type.  There are no accidents on 200.  Keep your cool, be responsible for your text.  The fact that HTC has to use Mods, is really a sad commentary on the fact that some folks can't police themselves.

Or how about the mods get some common sense themselves and maybe take a cultural diversity course, different words mean different things to people all over the world. Therefore something someone says in the UK might be seen in a different light by those from the UK than say those in the USA.

I also suspect most of the kids on here could teach their parents a thing or two about bad language, therefore the "there are children playing this game - watch your mouth" argument, holds no weight with me.

That's the stupidest and lamest excuse that I have ever seen.

And this comes in second.

There is absolutely no reason in the world to use profane language on vox or in the text buffer.

Nope. I've got a film of me winging with uss113 in D-11s that LOOKs like its the right time frame, and there is a long period where im completely silent, but it doesn't show any pop-ups or anything saying I was muted. Does the pop-up show up in the film?

And Rino, that thread was about ONE word. If I get muted for foul language, I am perfectly alright with that. If something slips and I get a warning from a mod, I appologise for the infringement and keep a more tight leash on my tongue this complaint is for being muted for saying "Theres an F4U" by the auto filter, and for being warned for saying "pissed off". NEITHER of those two satements are profane, hence my complaint.

Popup's are not the issue here.  The reason for finding the film is to see what, exactly, you typed.  As others have stated in this thread, the filter will not issue a warning unless the F4U is followed by a "K".

Also, you don't think that "pissed off" is profane, right?  Are you ok with what others posted in your other thread about the alternate meanings of the word you find so offensive?

The issue is though, when the filter intercepts it, it doesn't make it to the buffer. The buffer is recorded in the film viewer, but NOT the "window" that opens when you type.

There is a difference between the two. The other post was made regarding the connotations of a certain word and its widespread use. "pissed off" is worthy of a warning where "stfu", "noodlenoodlenoodle" and other little statements aren't? Would you punish your kids for saying someone was pissed off?

Who says I'm talking about profane and explicit language, or do I need to explain my statement to you? You seem like an itelligent person so I think no you don't want me to explain it. You know fine well what I'm talking about.

Yes.  Just the same as I was when I was your age.
