After a while, having engagements against buildings that can pull a massive and continuous 1G gets old but the problem is, people will follow the path of least resistance.

Why learn how to fight when you can prevent the fight by going NOE or complaining about a complex heavy bombing model so you can 'point and click' the hanger from 25k feet instead?

Eventually, most graduate to furballing (to some level) when they realize how futile their war winning efforts are.

I've seen a couple come around this week and maybe we'll see a shift in AH in the near future. Erkle, your posts complaining about the lack of war winning players really gives me hope for the future. Please, don't stop posting...

man, where do you guys get these titles, and who appoints them?  Why was I never told that I have to do what people tell me to?  Why am I always seemingly playing the game wrong?

At any rate, there are so few generals because most of them have been captured by the pirates and a few ninjas.  they are being held for ransom, but in retrospect, this was a bad idea because to date, none have been paid.  On side note, for awhile we were capturing privates, but they just wanted to be pirates and ninjas...so that didn't work out so well either.

I feel like such a goof.  It should have been obvious sooner.
Nits just don't like to fly any further than their own fields.  Doh!

Today, some of us worked all morning on the SE side of the orange map.  Had one base to go and we'd have the Rook HQ camped.
Couldn't get enough pilots there to help BECAUSE IT WAS TOO FAR TO FLY...LOL.

Within a 45 minutes, rooks organized and took the whole SE side of the map back.

So much easier to play at the NW side of map and defend, defend, defend.  Never had to fly outside the dar ring.

Ok nits, if I can't convince you otherwise I guess I'll just join in the everlasting furball. :rock

ya knowwww....

it strikes me as funny that the only people that seriously and consistantly put forth the ""you all syould play the game my way!!!!"" posts, are the land grabbers.

pickers, bnz'ers, furballers, squeak and whine a bit, but don't consistantly try to tell others to play their way. we only care about the fun of the battle.

then here comes the land baron.

waaawaaaaa we had all the buildings down except for 2!!!! you furballers were tooo busy waaaaa vulching the runways waaaaa.
vulching is not furballing. we like to have a fight. vulching is not a fight. if they were vulching, they WERE helping you you tard! they kept the aircraft from comming to kill your troops.

rant done. time to go back to work

Mostly true, but sometimes furballers do tell others how to play the game, usually to complain about someone who picked their sorry a55 and then ran away from their countrymen. :lol

Most knights don't know how to read, so your wasting valuable landgrab time posting in here  :D

:lol

A squaddie and I once flew 3 sectors in B-17s to drop the hangers at a base to slow down the offense at nearby bases and were berated by an individual after we had dropped our eggs because we had ruined his vulch... My response was: "my dog just [insert gameID] in the yard, I'll be afk while I clean it up"

Stang did a "Stuka" mission once ... with 1 goon ... and about 40 Stukas ... was one the most fun missions I have ever been in. The Stukas pwnd everthing in sight ... without dropping all the FHs I may add ... and we took the base.

I tried to put one of those together last week with Stukas, 109E-4's and 109F-4's escorting plus a goon.  Only 1 guy joined so I cancelled it.   :frown:

One day you will realize that what is fun for you may not necessarily translate into what is fun for someone else.

It's amazing how much more fun IMO you can have
as soon as you stop worrying about "winning" or "losing"
the war. I win every time i up and find a good fight.
