I live right near Austin....Bro lives in Freeport.

I hope we get some good rain out of it...doubt this far in we'll see much more than that. We need rain.


Freeport ehh?  I surf at Surfside, I think freeport is going to be under water... good thing they aare all on stilts.

its hard to predict, it seems like every 8 hours or so their track predications move more north and east.  It now looks like it will miss the Austin area, and maybe just a little bit in a corner of my county (Bastrop)

Maybe Lousiana is sucking so bad its pulling Ike that way...

I live on the NE side of Houston, we stay for cat 3 and below.  Floods around here pretty good and I live a block from lake Houston and the San Jacinto river.




My wife graduated from Humble HS in 84, and I lived there for a few years after I got out of the USAF.  Also lived in Huffman, right on Lake Houston.... used to flood alot during heavy rains....
