I'm still trying to figure out how GTO nuked Tenpenny tower.  With the ghouls' help I guess..

Fencer, they prolly porked the sniper to avoid 1-shot kills ruining gameplay, like in counter-strike.

There's a number of pretty funny scenes, most recent one I got is the supply store girl, when you first visit Megaton after doing Tenpenny's work.

You can't nuke penny tower but you can let the ghouls in and let them kill everyone in sight.  I did that and just watched as the ghouls chased the residents and slaughtered them.  One resident almost made it to the front door and outside where the security team was making their last stand.  Unfortunately for her, I shot her in the leg, scoring a critical and it slowed her enough for the ghouls to catch up and rip her to shreds.  As for the 'Last Stand' out front?  Well, I put a quick end to that with a mini-nuke.

Yea, you might be tempted to go for the peaceful solution of having the ghouls move in. its funny, after a while u go back to tenpenny and the ghouls have killed everyone, started wearing their clothes n stashed the bodies in the basement.

i like how one little act can change so much.

They still kill the residents if the residents agreed to live with the ghouls in peace?

Yes. When you come back later the ghouls tell you that they took the trashes away.

haha yea it's hilarious + they're wearing fancy clothes they stole from them. Not a single human left. If you want to slap a slave collar on Sarah or any of the other residents u better do it before they get "offed".

First Roy kills tenpenny and it's funny when you go into tenpennies room you see blood all over the place (don't forget to steal the book there :). Roy just says they had "differences".

Found the "super weapon"..

(Spoiler Alert)

Go north from Minefield.  On the north side of the power plant is a road.  Follow it east, it turns north just past the power plant.  When you see railings and a break in the road start looking left (west) for something interesting, your radiation warning will kick in.  Its a bit off the road.

Once you get near that area, you'll pick up the distress beacon on your radio too.

That is all Bestbuy had when I got it.  Believe me, it's not worth the extra $....

LOL!  Didn't know that, thought they just ended up living in peace with each other if you went that route.

The collector's edition from Amazon was worth it IMO.  It came with the standard stuff in the normal collector's edition plus a digital clock replica of a Pip-Boy 3000 that you can actually wear.

Got excited, then read the Amazon reviews on the clock. Apparently it's cheap, hard to read, almost impossible to program, and you can't even set an alarm. Do you have it, Ack-Ack?

I guess I took a different approach to Tenpenny tower. After reading what others had done I wanted to try something different.

Killed the Ghouls, then went back and after the quest was finished killed Tenpenny.  Grin
Walked out of the tower free and clear whistling Dixie.

The only legitimate complaint that the reviewer had was about the molded plastic.  Other than that, the guy is a major 'tard if he can't program the clock.  It has three buttons, press far left one to set the clock, press middle button to set hour, press far right to set minutes, press far left again to finish.  I find it mind boggling that someone would have troubles programming this clock.  As for the time display, I have no troubles reading the time, my display is bright and very clear.  The only dissappointment I have is that it didn't come with an alarm.
