As Shuffler said, I think you are going to find you have alot of twin engine B38s (P38s) helping out that night.
Thats great to here.
The two planes that we had some trouble filling last time were
the P-47D-25 and, to a lesser extent, the B-17G.
Those who read the AAR from the last MoM can see that the
P-47 actually performed much better than the P-51D did.
But since most pilots are unfamiliar with this plane, only
the most capable chose it. Hopefully it will receive more
interest this time, especially when you consider how well
it did last time.
As for the B-17's, well I think we will have good numbers
but I'm after
great numbers! I'd like to beat the total we
posted last time. After all, these
is a strategic
bomber mission!
This is the 2nd MoM and after this one we'll see if our numbers
(and popularity) are growing or if last time was a one-time
success.
