Thats great to here.

The two planes that we had some trouble filling last time were
the P-47D-25 and, to a lesser extent, the B-17G.

Those who read the AAR from the last MoM can see that the
P-47 actually performed much better than the P-51D did.
But since most pilots are unfamiliar with this plane, only
the most capable chose it.  Hopefully it will receive more
interest this time, especially when you consider how well
it did last time.

As for the B-17's, well I think we will have good numbers
but I'm after great numbers!  I'd like to beat the total we
posted last time. After all, these is a strategic
bomber mission!

This is the 2nd MoM and after this one we'll see if our numbers
(and popularity) are growing or if last time was a one-time
success.

Group Commanders have received their orders.

VOX USE
Pilots who are participating will be asked, urged, threatened
and even cajoled to use purple (room) text and to NOT use
local VOX unless critical information must be relayed.

VOX use is gonna be a big headache so please use text
as much as possible.  I'm sure that the group commanders
may allow an open mic during some of the mission but when
they declare VOX closed, please use text only unless,
as I said, you have to say something critical like...CHECK SIX! 

ALL pilots hold on the runway after you spawn with engines on.
Stay off VOX and await the instructions of your Group Commander.
Do exactly what they say.

Be careful there mensa.
While I appreciate the desire of squads to launch in
their preferred skin, the mission editor forces everyone
to fly the default skin.

You need to be careful because I expect to be changing
the launch base in the mission editor a minute or two before
take-off to defeat dual-account spying.  When I do that you will
find yourself wondering what happened.

Please avoid all these hassles by just joining the
P-38 group once that mission is posted.  No, you won't
be in your squad's skin but a least you won't miss the party. 

Sorry, but the spies ruin things for all of us to some degree.
Just another reason why spies should be outed and not tolerated.

It will be no trouble to just roll outside of the mission and then meet with and run patterns over the bombers.  We have done this before and one of the things I enjoyed about it was the historically correct markings, I won't be kept from them .
