Group Commanders
If any ROOK squadron commander whose group has expertise in
operating the venerable P-51D in both an interceptor role and
a ground attack role is interested in commanding one of
the 3 designated fighter groups, please let me know asap.

The best way to let me know you are interested in assuming
such a role is to go to the LCA's website at www.lcasquad.org
and use the V-Mail form to contact me.  The last thing you will
need to do is register on our forums so you can be granted
access to the MoM planning area.

Since this is a simple fighter mission I
am going to push the times back an hour
to give you West coast guys a chace to play.

a) you put the date as 2009, not 2008 in the title

b) if I just want to be a regular pilot in this, do I need to sign up in advance?

I fixed the date while you were posting Yosarrian.

There is no signing up in advance for MoM Missions!

Thats what makes them different from FSO or Scenarios.
You only have to be in the arena when they are scheduled
to roll, join the missions when they are posted ,and then
just listen to the instructions given you by your group
commander.

So watch the country channel for the mission posted
announcement and then join one of the posted missions.
and most of all...HAVE FUN!

Awesome, thanks!    I should be able to make that (pending traffic, should be on sometime between assembly and launch).

I'm a Nit atm, so I'll likely switch to Rooks for this mission.  I'll consider bribes from Bishland though.

Delta, you list 8th AF fighter groups and have an 8th AF patch, but your 51 is a 325th FG, 15th AF bird!  False advertising!

That's a big 10-4 good buddy only.....
I didn't list the 325th FG in our order of battle.

I have the 352nd Fighter Group, the
"Bluenosed Bastards of Bodney"
listed in our TOE.

Its okay though.  And don't worry..they have
pretty good meds now that can treat that dyslexia
you got.
