I am sure, they could have lived together peacefully if war hadn't almost immediately broke out. It's been one big fustercluck since the country was made. But it can't just be undone. Where would the Jews go? It would be the exact same thing again.

No, on the news today, a spokesperson said "Hamas has been shelling Israel defensively"

So, in defense, Hamas has been starting what they can't handle with Israel, and are about to get whuped, after shelling in a defensive mode.

With every fight, Israel takes a chance of getting every Muslim nation involved. The only one I wouldn't see getting involved maybe is Iraq. If this even escalated to where Israel was fighting Iran, I would be nuclear weapons would be used.

Not for the fact that Iran is superior, it's just that well... As mean and hateful as it sounds, those people are crazy. I remember watching a thing about Iran on the history channel, there was a mine field that the Iranians wanted to push through when they were at war with Iraq. Something like 25,000 people volunteered, teenagers, to run through that field and clear the mines.

There's a level of religious zealotry in that region that Christianity hasn't seen since the Middle Ages, or even maybe since the Roman Empire when Christians would gladly die as martyrs at the hand of Roman persecution. Martyrdom is a very popular idea among Muslims even today- people just consider their lives less valuable than an overall cause and would gladly die for it, I guess. It's really not that alien of an idea in the United States, as Martyrs are held in regard even here. The majority religion of the country is based on the word of a martyr... but for some reason, it seems when most Americans see Muslims with this kind of devotion to their cause, they don't understand it. I don't really get why not, but what ever.

Artillery is a defense measure for the most part. As for this situation, I say they roll some tanks straight across all their nieghbors because all of them have a helping hand in affording those freaking rockets, shoot lets pull out of iraq and help them. Bunch of cowards just like all the rest of these jihadists around the world, they use IEDs against us which is very cowardice, push a button and run all they do. Im ranting

what I would like to know is what is happening in the two wars we are fighting....

all i hear about is this war thats been going on for 60 years, that we are a part of by association
