There's Wife ack, kid ack, cat ack, dog ack, pesky neighbor ack, and the long distance phone call from a family member ack.

It all strikes at the worst possible moment. It's all like that pilot wound blackout you get just as your starting to flare out for your landing.
you forgot sibling ack(the most annoying), and parent ack

You could try turning off the game, and the kids x-box and enjoying a family outing.
If that pans out for the better, let me know. I will take some of my own advice lol
HMM... Family outings=98% of my life,   If i want a start a thread on the lil bit of AH i play, just let me. Wasn' asking for a psychic evaluation...

Don't worry i see the humor side of your post that you intended it to be.

Fortunately for me when I started playing AH my daughter was old enough to do most everything on her own and understand that she should leave the computer alone when someone else is on it. I do however remember when I was taking my EMT course, she was 3 years old and saw me marking several impiortant sections off in my text book with a highlighter. Well while I was off getting something to drink she thought it would be cool to mark somethings off too, making my studying later on a little more interesting.

The worst ack I get now though is dog ack when he tries to crawl under the desk and pulls out the stick and headset from their USB ports. For some reason you have to log before plugging them back in otherwise they won't work.

I have heard rumors of popping the {Windows} keys off the keyboard..  However my keyboard is illuminated and cost me much denaro.....  tuk151

It won't break it if you're gentle, just stick the key in a drawer and you'll be able to stick it back on if you ever need it.

My G-15 keyboard has a 'windows key disable switch'. It's groovey. I can hammer away at the key all day and it never boots me back to windows.

There is nothing in life better then coming home from work and playing with your kids.

A million times I took the bats, gear, and bucket of balls, out the field to practice baseball with my guy. Nothing is better then that and my only regret is that the time went so fast. The videos I made of his first T-ball teams are just priceless.

So savor these times Tuk. They will never happen again. :salute

Wow. Guys, my intent of this thread was to tell stories of how kids can interrupt game play, and the ways they do it. I hope i didnt come across as a parent that locks kids in closet and playes aces high.   I am coach, and sponser of tee-ball and i have a backseat full of baby seats+ BOOSTER SEATS.  Built my son a go-cart track with banking in the corners. No need for me to explain my parenting skills. I do see your intentions, as advice from people who's kids are grown up, and older than mine. Thanks for your comments and pleae remember that this thread was meant to be some-what comical.. Thanks tuk

Option 1: tell your wife or significant whatever to watch the kids before your head explodes and the paychecks stop coming in.
