You're gonna sit back and laugh as a teammate gets shot down?

Depending who it is, yes I have.

Nothing is better than clearing a friendly's 12 o'clock and letting the one behind him nail him.  :lol

I will take help at all times. Every time someone asks if I wnat help, I say yes.

The way you're carrying on, I doubt you will have too many people rushing to assist you.   :lol

We both got there at the same time.

Regardless, I like to "pretend" it's a real war.

How many times in WWII did people sit around and watch while their countrymen "dueled," an enemy?

How did it work out for them?

It happened a lot. I've heard and read many stories about german aces. Their wingman stayed up and checking their 6 while the ace was fighting.

Again, how did that work out for them?

Whatever, I'll just keep doing as I see fit.

Good luck to you godless murderers

You are all part of the problem. No sense of team.

I don't fly for a team. I switch countries almost every day to find fights. I could say that you're really the problem because you think a cartoon game is a real life war.

You're gonna sit back and laugh as a teammate gets shot down?

I will laugh at someone like you each time you come into range vox while making fun of you.

And if it's "just a game," why would you all be getting PO'd at someone jumping in?

I don't get POed when someone jumps in. I just make it my duty to make sure each time you enter a fight you are being mocked while getting owned.

One other trick I do is after someone has been asked to stay out and comes in anyway the next sortie I will get into a tempest, follow you around, and pick every single fight you get into so you wont get a kill for the rest of the night.

You don't see a contradiction there? Lol

In "real war" terms, if the friendly pilot has the advantage over the enemy plane, then "helping" him by clearing his 12 is a waste of the E you could be saving for actual threats.
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

Nope I see a good way to teach some newb a leason. Why should I stay out of any of your fights when after you were asked you still decided to interrupt mine? It shows people like you that if you don't play nice with others they wont play nice back, and you end up crying on the boards because someone didn't feel like helping you after you disrespected him.

I think it's called 'a taste of your own medicine'.  It's a good learning tool for the ignorant.

You can fly however you want for your 2 week trial Boxman, but it's not a real war and it's absurd to play that card to justify 'anything goes' game play.

Boxman is right, it's his dime and he can play anyway he wants to.  He doesn't have to respect anyone else's game ever.  He is free to go after everything and every enemy he sees.  Why he can even follow an already dead bandit 5K to the ground trying to get enough rounds it to steal it.  He's entitled to do all that.
HOWEVER, nobody has to like him, or listen to him, or talk to him, or join any of his missions, or even fly in the same battle with him, let alone help him out when he's in trouble.  Heck, we don't even have to acknowledge his existance in the game or on the forums either.  Don't have to invite him into a squad in the MA, or FSO for that matter.  And no one has to answer his questions about the game, or teach him how to do something, or show him any of the numerous tricks and techniques to win and get kills in the game.  There's a whole bunch more the rest of us don't have to do either.
Yup, it's his right to play the game anyway he wants to and he doesn't have to listen or pay any attention to us.  Let us know how the works out for ya Boxman.   :aok
