go into the "p38 kill ratio out of whack" thread. i posted a film in there of me fighting a zeek.....and i was going vertical against him. i was pitcher over 40 degrees nose up, in complete control at 54 mph. more than once.

Yes, I found the film after some search. Nice ropes there CAP1!

As I said I don't have much experience in any of the 38's, just barely tried them for a few sorties in DA but never kept with them for several sorties over time. Just jumped into one now and then mostly because some other dude just had owned me in one, and I wanted to do some tests on my own to see if I could do the same..

However, after all this talk about the 38 I took a testflight offline in one myself just now. Just took off and set my views first, that took some time, then I just goofed around testing how it would climb. Did that for several times, tested out different ways to roll over at the top of my imaginary rope, trying out the rudders in different ways and different speeds. All in all I find the P 38 quite fun to fly actually, much more than I remember thinking before when I tried one.. Maybe I should give it another chance and stick with it some more...

Anyway, I made an offline film of my flight from takeoff to landing. A boring testflight, only sprited up by those aaawwsome rope moves,

some drone kills over sea and finished off by a highspeed landing approach with some neckbreaking brakingmoves before wheels down and landing safely on the runway.
It is nothing to see really, and its almost half an hour of recording and the first 5min is just me climbing from the base while setting views and stuff. But since I have never tried to upload and post a film before I want to post it anyway, just to make sure I can..
Enjoy
