While were at it, why not a map of a US place that saw action, like pearl harbor?

Or Detroit, even thoe it didn't see action, I would give the game a little peice of home:)
Detroit sure , lets knocker down and start over! :D

Detroiters have beaten you to it (well the knocking down part, anyway).

Also, come to think of it, tonight is Devil's Night -- so, perhaps a little more knocking down is underway as I type.

(I grew up in suburbs of Detroit.)

only problem i can think of is the tools constantly running missions to HQ for bomber % and perks. Make it to where they dont get hit % off the buildings and its perfect. But it looks really good  :aok

Why is that a bad thing? Bringing back the massive HQ hardness and giving the bombers a true target to go after en masse, plus a decent reason for intercepts to occur...sounds better than a furball to me.

That's a good idea... Tie it into a strat. Strats are resupplied via train, blow the hub, and strat trains are... what? 2x as slow?

I call B.S. It's as much for the fight. It just takes (here's the magic word) patience on behalf of both sides to make it happen. There's craploads of fun fights to be had over a strategic target. That has been proven repeatedly.

I have to call B.S. also. If you make it so strats dont give higher bomb %s then why bomb strats? Bomber pilots will only close fields and end furballs where ever they are. BAD bad idea.  :old:

Well I for one think it will add to the fun factor to have the new cities and targets in them.

It looks great from here.

I like this development, it always looked a bit bogus to have a factory or refinery sitting all alone in the middle of rolling countryside for as far as the eye could see.

Its also going to be harder for milk runner types to bomb undefended strats now as cappers will know exactly where to wait for them. The whole purpose of terrain design should be to promote combat.

Would it be possible allow the TE to set this city up as a tanktown area, i.e so it does not show up on the game map as a strat object for the other side?

So what if us bomber pilots would rather fly BUFFs than fighters. Maybe we enjoy the fun of long distance high alt missions dropping bombs on STRATegic targets such as ammo factories or troop training. Just because you don't have the patience to hang with us bomber pilots doesn't mean you have to try and put us down.

Oh yeah, they're coming already......see
