Greens, rottweilers are my favorite dogs.  I've had two and both were fantastic.  My latest one, Chesty, was killed this summer at only 4 years old.  He was only just hitting his prime and was an absolutely fantastic dog.  I still miss him every day.

I've put a deposit down on a new rott, which I'll get as soon as he's born.  Just as soon as the breeder has a good one picked out for me I'll be all over him.  I almost can't wait, but my new little girl Sadie will keep me busy until then I'm sure.

great pics madda! i will try to get some pics of my boys playin tug o war! they are so funny! sometime tank gets lazy and just lays down and lets stuka pull him around! its hella funny to watch!

spk, jock looks like a very happy puppy dog!! hes very pretty!! looks like he could knock u down if u dont pet him on time! stuka and tank was running thru my house (i have big house with lot of open space) and my daughter just so happened to be standing in their line of running because they knocked her feet out from under her (my daughter is almost as tall as me and is 14) and she came down hurting her elbow for a minute. shes okay had a bruise on her elbow but the dogs never even flinched, it never bothered them that they had just blasted her like that! it was crazy, so now we stop them from running thru the house, its hard to take them outside right now for too long cuz its so cold and my stuka freezes! he has to cover up with a blanket when he comes in from the cold!!

here is my cold stuka puppy!! no...hes NOT spoiled!! :)

Rotties are simply awesome.  These are my two 10 year old girlz.  Had em since pups, and dunno what I'd do without em.

i know the feeling jager,

when i have stuka and tank out and about, ppl steer clear of my car or us. when stuka was 3 months old, we was on the way to dayton, i had to stop at all the rest area's so he could go potty. this one rest area had couple buses full of kids. i was standing there waiting for my kids to come out and had stuka on his leash when a camp director lady walked up and asked to pet him. i told her of course! so bunch of kids came running over and of course stuka was luving the attention! then after petting him and talking to me for bout 5 minutes, she then asked "what kind of dog is he" when i told her he was pitbull/bull mastiff mix, it was almost like they thought he had the plague and she told them kids in a hurry to go back over with the rest of the kids and she left with them making sure they did exactly that.

makes me sooooooooo angry when people just assume the breed or the way they look that they are aggressive.  :furious

As long as the dog just isn't nuts, a balanced dog is healthy, happy, and safe one.  No more prejudice!  We've done it for people; so the least we can do is provide equality to man's best friend.

Ya can't see them in the pics very well, but both of them do have spiked collars.

Oh, I mean like the really big ones (safe plastic of course), like 4 or 5 cm each!

I made that mistake with one like that, but made of metal.  It was like hanging around a 120lb porcupine that really liked to jump on you.  In hindsight, I probably should've gone with the less sharp kind.
