Rotties are simply awesome.  These are my two 10 year old girlz.  Had em since pups, and dunno what I'd do without em.

This is their "What now coach?" look.

Beautiful girls!

i know the feeling jager,

when i have stuka and tank out and about, ppl steer clear of my car or us. when stuka was 3 months old, we was on the way to dayton, i had to stop at all the rest area's so he could go potty. this one rest area had couple buses full of kids. i was standing there waiting for my kids to come out and had stuka on his leash when a camp director lady walked up and asked to pet him. i told her of course! so bunch of kids came running over and of course stuka was luving the attention! then after petting him and talking to me for bout 5 minutes, she then asked "what kind of dog is he" when i told her he was pitbull/bull mastiff mix, it was almost like they thought he had the plague and she told them kids in a hurry to go back over with the rest of the kids and she left with them making sure they did exactly that.

makes me sooooooooo angry when people just assume the breed or the way they look that they are aggressive.  :furious

Betty, that exact same thing happens to me all the time when I'm out with my guys.  People will be petting and loving all over them, and then ask what kind of dog they are.  Then it's stand up and back away.  Amusing to me, but it irritates a bit nonetheless.  I can't help but think however that every time that happens, a small seed gets planted.  Like every one of those people can and will later think back on the time they met a pitbull and petted him and he was a very sweet and friendly dog, not at all like they show on the news.  I like to think that I'm doing good work for the breed that way.  Otherwise, I'd just have to be depressed and give up.

Good looking dog Madd and Betty.  Madd, a few of us are going to have a beer here in town in a about a month.  You interested?

I got this pup a couple years ago.  He use to be scared of the lake. I threw him in a few times, now he's brave.

Is that some kind of a wirehair terrier mix maybe?

Yowza, if those are your guys, you'd better keep away from water Chappy!

Seriously though, nice little guys, Boston terriers?

Was that a halloween pic then I guess?

I'm not sure, I adopted him.  He sure fits the bill for an Irish Terrier, but he's about 15 pounds heavy.  His hair feels like a wire brush.  He might have some Airedale.

I'll pm you about the beer.

I think that the Airdale are the biggest of the wire hair type of terriers, so it sort of fits.  I'm not really positive on that though, I'm not terribly clear on the group there.  They all seem so similar to me that they run together.

Absolutely pm me about the beer, sounds great.

I don't know if they make outfits big enough Betty.  They'd probably be fairly miffed though if I had to make a guess.  Ever seen a pitbull pout?  I have, it's not pretty.

Chap, such nice needlework.  My grandmother always had bostons when I was growing up.  The one named 'babe' was a loose cannon.

I found this site from 1881 and his name back then was Playboy.  Plus the pics of the dogs looking happy with mustard gas exposure.  Looked just like my dog.  http://www.anluan.net/page4.asp

omg madda! a pouting pitbull is awful! stuka pouts sometimes when i plan to be gone longer than normal and he is unable to go with me. he knows once i grab my car keys that WE'RE going "bye bye". but when i grab them and then make him sit and stay while i walk out of the house, he'll run over to the window and i can see him while backing out my driveway and he is pouting bad! makes me feel awful but sometimes he has to stay home hehe
