Not perfect but close. :D  The way I feel is that if I get shot down either salute them or say nothing at all.   If I am peeved or upset about something that is where my squad comes in.  Who else to complain to about everyone and everything you dislike.  On TS they are the only ones to know.  Thats what friends are for.

+1  :aok me too.. The "you HO'd me" comments on 200 are pretty funny.. I'm a firm believer that to get HO'd, you, yourself are lined up for it and were thinking about it at least.. And yes, I HO.... More often than I'd like to admit.. But in a true 1v1 I avoid it.. 2 v1 or more, if you cross my sights from any angle I'm pulling the trigger.. After one or two turns with multiples my survival chances get way to low..  :t

I'm a massive  complainer, excuser and insulter.

I just don't type it out on 200. All staying on this side of the screen   ;)

So what are ya, complainer, excuser or accepter?
All of the above, depending on time of the month.

The ideal is the high road, but I am not without fault.

Had an awesome fight against RufLeak last night.  His P-39D swooped in on my P-39D ( I know what are the odds?  :O) and we had a great back and forth fight.  I was beaten but didn't hesitate to give a salute for such a fun fight.  Wish I had film of it.  :(
:salute  A reaffirming fight, for sure.  No film here, either.

I seem to find myself saying "nice shot" a lot when I get a chance to fly.  I think it has to do with my cartoon plane exploding so often :)

As long as I'm not really dying and planes are free, it doesn't really matter in the end.  I just can't get too worked up about it.

Normally I blame myself, e.g.  poor SA, bad E management, stupid move #1, stupid move #2. :furious

Not like I'm a saint or Guppy   or anything there are times when I get very frustrated. Like when you just go wheels up and you are climbing out trying too eat a sandwich and that noe horde shows up.  Then I'm pissin and moanin about the skilless dweeb cherry pickin tards.  :cry

quite a bit of what you've posted in the op, is a very large part of why i've not been seen in the arenas for a few months.

normally, i don't let anything on a computer, or other cartoon pile-its, or cartoon airplanes, or cartoon collisions, etc etc etc bother me.

but....for whatever reason, it got to the point, where virtually everything was bothering me, and i was starting to become one of the loudmouthed schmucks on 200.
for this reason, i simply silently disappeared for a bit.

i do have to admit, that i've been getting a bit of the itch again, and a certain local pile-it stopping by my shop, checking on me, shooting the bull, and bringing me pepsi, has helped get me wanting back. won't be this weekend.....but soon.

good post btw.  :aok

2) Excuser.

I usually fly a Yak which is a higher ENY number than most of the aircraft in AH.  So when I get shot down its only because they were using an uber plane compared to me.

But I keep my excuses to myself, not in the habit of sending messages and I've never spent one second on channel 200.

That said, I'm definitely a #2.

hehe, S! Boilerdown, for such an honest reply. I think this would put you in the acceptance catagory as you don't inflict it on others.

This thread isnt meant to make people really nice to each other, just to highlight that complaint and excuse wont chance what happened.

I am all 3.  :rofl I salute the guy before my chute opens even, hoping that he looses SA while typing his response and fails to land my kill  :D  Just to make sure, I try to keep him engaged on Ch. 200 for as long as possible describing my critical error (meanwhile on country channel I am broadcasting Grizz and Kappa's location  :devil ).

After all ... I am the geek that sits on the runway for 15 minutes waiting for you to loose your pilot wound battle so I can then land your kill  :neener:

Nice post Mechanic  :aok

I feel there's a direct correlation between the amount of time a person plays this game and weather they fall into the A, B, or C type of responder.

The exception - quite a few of the really good players, who play a lot, will give a "C" type of response to being shot down.

Sonic's post is a perfect example of "typical" AH arena mentality. Regardless of how fundamentally retarded he's going to appear, he spends x amount of time typing out a response that illustrates his cranial inadequacy for all who read it.

and your reply is a perfect example of a typical AH forum mentality, which dictates that not only do you have to make your point, but you feel obliged to chuck in an ad-hominem attack.

see how I managed to make my point there without feeling the need to personally insult you?

I make an effort to refrain from hitting "Enter" when I get ticked off, but I have my moments.  My big AH pet peeve is people who will not even make an attempt to back it up but will not shut up.  That will occasionally produce a comment or two from me.

If only human behaviour were this simple to categorize in this game.  Denial would be the very first one in the list.
