WTG TEXAS20 . I like to get into some reds . Last time I fished them I hook a ray and he stuck to the bottom for an hour before I even got him in .

Yeah Flench I love fishing reds but freaking rays are a pain in the hind end!  We wade out of the boat a lot and i used to wear ray boots but they are so heavy that I just wear rattlesnake guards now.  Hopefully I never step on HUGE ray. lol

Now I got 3 men on my list to fish with  , TEXAS20 ,Thebug and mbailey . For some resone my truck only drives south tho , lol; .
 I got to get me a gopro camera . Be time to deer hunt pretty soon and I like to get it all on film . I lost the land I was hunting on so I'm going to run every thing in there out with my pack of dog's . See how they like that .

Amazing bug! I like to blacken them or grill em.  If I'm gonna grill them I will fillet them on the half shell. Season with garlic,cilantro and lemon juice and slap onto a hot grill. When you press down on the fillet and see no moistsure take them off and push a steal spatula between the meat and skin. the fillet will slide right off. :rock

Blackened ....well i guess that's the same all over.

I don't know if you saw this pic Flench but this was my best day this year.  The blacks fight harder IMHO but reds taste better! lol

I never caught Reds, but I hear the action is fantastic. Back in the '80s I used to travel to Montauk Point NYNY and fish night blues off of the Viking Starship. One 2 day trip me and another guy caught 76 big night blues. The 10 or 15lb chunkers that will take a finger off. It was the closest I ever came to catching fish till I didnt want to catch anymore. The night blues come in ravenous schools and the deck of this huge boat looked like a slaughterhouse.

Caught right near where Rich is talking about about 2 mos ago....my daughter  :D These Blues are about 12lbs / 15lbs

Some people eat them, me not so much...my wife likes them tho......to oily and fishy for me. Caught these Striper fishing

Rich, those party boats are a trip....ive been on them and caught so many that i couldnt lift my arms up the next day  LOL

I wish I did. It was when I was young and thought Pics werent important. It was off the Viking Starship head boat tho. I must have made 1/2 dozen trips out there in the mid'80s. http://www.vikingfleet.com/

I see now . Yeah Rich I wish I would of had a camera back in my day but we found out alot of stuff we were doing back then was not so legal so no pic's , lol .
