Just for the record, no 109T was in Ethopia.   Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 and Savoia-Marchetti SM.81 bombers and Fiat CR-42 were your "best aircraft" the Regia Aeronautica (not the Germans) had.

On to the Bf-109 T-2 and T-2/B

The three main differences were the arrester hook, catapult fittings and the addition of 1.18 meters of "wingspan".   The T-2's were technically similar to the E-7/N's (the T-2 had the DB601 N engine), except the wingspan increase Patin remote compass and special night flying lights (for the intended carrier landings).   T-2/B's had three attachment points on the ailerons, as opposed to the "standard" two for the Emils.

Also, only 79 T-2's and T-2/B's were made in total.   They were then de-navalized (as someone else stated previously), sent to Norway, then on to assist in the BoB.

It was a joke.

I know, but I was merely continuing to properly inform those who might not know.

Allright, I stand corrected, but it doesnt mean that you folks can just flame it for your own enjoyment, although i remember the T being the first at something...

Who "flamed it"?   Although, had you searched, this has been requested often over the last 8.5 years that I have been here.

I think the 109-T was the first German AC to shoot down a B-17.

I would rather have a 109 G14 A/S or 109 G6 A/S way before any other varient of 109

First, I wasn't OP so i wasn't requesting it

Second, I already know that it's been requested multiple times
