I have heard this story before..... Still waiting for the joy of actually seeing it for myself.     It might be the only time I wouldn't be too upset about dying.     Well, if it's a 262, maybe not.   

Once I was about 4k in the air and a bomber was dropping its bombs and one of its bombs hit me and killed me. I wanna do that to a bomber and watch it eat its own medicine.

I can just see it now, bring a g14 with an egg, get above it, and dive bomb the bomber

There is a video on youtube somewhere of a bomber mission in the SEA where a friendly flew under his squadmate while he was dropping his bombs and got killed. I watched it a few days ago. Let me see if I can find the link in my history and Ill post the link.

There's a famous clip of WWII bombers in which it appears one bomber looks like it dropped a bomb through the wing tank of another and it spiraled down. After forensic film analysis, it was impossible to see the bomb hit the wing, and just as likely that puffy-ack killed it.

Yes people have been arguing about that clip for as long as I can remember. IMO it was a direct hit from a 88mm or some other AA gun.

There is a photo of a B-17 that got hit by the bomb of another as I recall.  Lost its port horizontal stabilizer.

I have seen that one.

I love the photo of the B17 that got rammed by a 190 (i think) and nearly cut the tail off. It was able to make it back home and when it touched down the tail collapsed.

I thought that damage was cased by the wing of a Bf109.

give him just a couple of seconds and he'll be babbling on about the need of having the M18 in the game! he will find some bizarre and unrealistic way to link the must have of the M18 to the discussion of killing bombers! it doesnt matter how insane his proposed link will really be, he will put it out there in a cheezey attempt to justify his blatant promotion of the need for the M18!

hmm... it IS faster than the M4/75 maybe it'd fire just as fast and i'd be able to kill bombers who love to carpet the GVers AND not get shot by them? i AM a good main gunner A/C killer
