Its just stupid in a MMO air combat game to have this unwritten "rule" where you don't kill reds unless asked to.  Just stupid.  If you want a good one v one match up where pickers and HOrs leave you alone then invite a hot stick friend over to the DA and set up a great fight.

My guess is you don't go to the DA all that much.  You get one fight, maybe, then the griefers come investigate in Tempests.  That's how it was the last three times I was in there.

If I see a 1on1 I usualy just ignore it.  If the guy is screaming for help I usualy ignore it even more.

You don't have to go to furball lake. Still maybe they just head your way in the challenge area.

Now you talk about a goon, the capture of a field ..... next you will say they could have won the war. :rolleyes:
We have all picked/been picked, ganged/got ganged, vulched/got vulched etc etc i bet we have had all the same experiences (in a way or another) and from them we all decided our OWN code of conduct.
Like you have seen, some wil agree with you and some others won't, leave it at that. Don't try to explain us (that don't agree with you), that the same thing happened to you or else.

Still though you have a point. Not everyone is going to agree with you no matter the logic.

Bad form Getback.. Seems to me you saw a golden opportunity for an easy kill and took it. Otherwise you would have at least announced to your countryman that you were coming to his assitance, where upon he could have waived you off.

Similar situation happened to me a while back, was 1v1 and another bish I didn't see zoomed in and picked. I had to offer up an apology to my opponent.

I'm not apologizing for shooting someone down in a game where you shoot people down and definitely not in a furball situation or a situation where we are trying to capture a base.

Most of my kills are not easy at all. I was just thinking the other day how tough the fights were getting. This was after I was chasing down a k4, looked back and another k4 was on me. I swung left. The one that I was chasing swung back into me. I ruddered hard right and swept under him by that time the second one was back on my 6. Another hard sweep and some gentle pings on my fuselage. Then the first was back in. It was tough. Finally some help came and I was able to get one of them and a wingie got the other. Then a high spit came in. I cut under him. Just a second later a high 38 zoomed in on my 6. Fortunately he missed I went home with quite a bit of damage.

Don't expect fairness in the MA and you won't be disappointed. I sure don't. I do expect excitement and I best have my SA on. I've been picked and the person I blame is me. No one else.

I'm heading to the MA and I expect to hurt some feelings!  :D (Of course they me hurt mine hehe)
