At the very least......turn them off for a couple months and see if the game is has been enhanced
or adversely affected.
Planes can still find them, but they will have to get closer and see them visually. Getting closer
makes the a/c targets for all the GV's. That levels the playing field.
Planes look down and see an icon for a Tiger, Panther, ect and GV drivers ask, "why should I
grab a perked tank?" Tank drivers can't always tell if the enemy tank is a Panther or a Tiger....why should
the a/c see an icon labeling what kind of tank it is?
The diversity of GV's running is around is what makes the Tanking fun.
I don't want to
only fight M-4's, T-34, and Panzers IV, but all the tanks available. They all
have a role and some are more of a challenge to kill than others.
How many times have you seen a GV'er with a Tiger II stay on the pavement at his field, then bail before the bombs hit?
I can imagine bombers hitting empty barns looking for tanks with enemy GV Icons turned off, especially when a field is flashing.
The same would be true for a flashing town. Planes would have to get down low to find enemy GV's and become targets as well.
